Now that certainly cuts through the matter, doesn't it? :)

    Ok quick question:
Should I buy Kotor or Xcom?
I only have enough room on my iPad for 1. Note- I also own both games on PC and have never played either for more than an hour or 2.

Since you own both games on your Pc, perhaps it would be prudent to go back to them to see whether you would prefer to play a RPG or a TBS game. Note: I'm unsure if XCom falls within the TBS sphere. I think it does, but at a different end of the spectrum compared to FF Tactics.

You can then determine whether you are prepared to accept compromises to graphic fidelity, content, controls, etc, and will be in a much better position to determine if you want to double-dip to play on a mobile device.

KotOR is currently half-price in the NZ app store (but nowhere else at the moment, as far as I can tell from a quick scan of a dozen other regional stores).

Curious. Wonder if it's just trying to affect the sales in a region.

Oh please don't! For App addicts like me that can't resist price reductions and buying games I know I won't want to sink time into.

Guys does this run decent enough on an iPad2? I am thinking of grabbing it on sale just because I held off on buying it because my iPad is aging...

If a iPad Mini can run it then it should run fine on your iPad 2.

Is it possible to transfer saves between PC and iPad version?

From the looks of it, the controls are better on the PC so will enjoy it more on there. I'm thinking of picking up the iPad version since its on sale and play when I'm on the move.

Actually the ONLY thing better on pc is physical movement, which is not vastly important that it be that accurate in this game. Queuing attacks and all the menus in this game are much better with touch.

And it frankly doesn't take that long to get used to moving around in this version. And as said above, everything else seems like it was made for touch control.
