Multiplayer was never in a KOTOR title, but as far as the gameplay mechanics go, multiplayer in Neverwinter Nights was a fantastic experience.
Not much of a steampunk theme, but I can only think of Dragon Age. Part1 was awesome... 2 was garbage.
Roughly how many hours of gameplay are we talking here. 30-40? You know what would suit this game nicely? Tap to move. I never, ever thought I'd say it, but tap to move would be perfect for this type of game, certainly better than the wonky controls that they have now. If you've spent any amount of time on the Internet interacting with your fellow species, you'll come to the realization that, regardless of age, some people act like three-year-olds online and others are as mature and reasonable as can be reasonable expected. Age really has little to do with it. The now-deleted chatroom...experience...has reinforced that conviction.
I dropped it a LONNNNG time ago. Ask yourself what juvenile urge compelled you to jump in and toss your 2¢ out. If anyone's beating a dead horse, it certainly isn't I.
I disagree, I think the controls are spot on. Sure I had my doubts but after playing it, its really good.
RIP my old friend Meanwhile I forgot how awesome constructing your own lightsabre is! One of those gaming affordances that makes reality seem all the more sucky
Tap to move involves tapping all over the screen and with the camera so close to the character model a majority of the time you'd be tapping directly on your character, plus I feel like tap to move might clash with their tap to open boxes and doors mechanic or at the very least a miss placed attack or menu tap would lead to accidental movement animations. I honestly think its current movement controls work great, and in fact a lot of the clunkiness people are attributing to sliding a finger on the screen was actually there 10 years ago with the Xbox version (getting stuck on objects or behind carths fat face, move Kaiden!)
Is it the same story than the one on consoles and PC? Is this one the same story that Ive played two or three times on Consoles and PC? Is KOTOR 2 going out too? How does it feel on iPad vs PC and console controls? Ive just loved it years ago. Can someone compare them? Please!!
Yup... I did mention this here previously, i think. The Brandnew Boy/Lili type of tap-to-move control scheme will seem perfect for this gameplay.
Aspyr is who ported the game on Mac as well and I don't believe it's ever been less than ten dollars. I don't know how much control over the price they actually have or if bioware gets to dictate. Plus it's been sitting at 10 bucks on steam, so ten dollars really seems like its set level for the foreseeable future, especially since its so successful right now. Just buy it and enjoy the glory of one of the best RPGs ever made.
Seriously you are joking!! I know I'm going to be attacked for this but that is insane, this game is worth 2x the price and more, its an absolute classic. People like you are the reason we are swamped by crap freemium games and soul crushing iap's. Seriously.. I hope it never goes on sale, £6.99 is a mammoth bargain.
Agree. I only wait for games like from gameloft to go on sale. This.... I didn't even hesitate on the buy button.
