Hey Parcheesy; no, I don't think we've played together just yet. I've got camp for five days myself soon, so if I don't catch you tomorrow, I'll be sure to have a game with you after I come back DBC, once you play the maps a little more, you'll start getting an idea of where the alien spawn points are (there's a limited amount of spots they can spawn from on the ground, so you'll have an idea where to look). Easiest method to stay alive is to back yourself into a corner so you won't get blindsided from behind, but leave yourself enough room to move a little, so you can dodge projectiles from the flying bug and the scorpion. A more advanced method involves focusing your attention on the nearest spawn point, but strafing in circular motions: that particular technique will require some experience to build up, because you can still get blindsided with it, but it helps you scan and manage your space much better once you figure out how to do it on each map by predicting where the aliens are going to attack you from. Also, if you're still missing any pieces of the Thunder Armour, I'd recommend getting that missing piece before you continue upgrading your gun. The Armour's ability will come in very handy for getting out of tight situations (e.g. activating the power up ability, I can kill most bulls in 3 or 4 railgun shots).
Hey guys, I'm up for some killing, and yes I have the full Thunder set. Boost + Hyperclips? Delicious. Rages/Serpent are a bit beyond me, so, I'll mostly be, well, you know, trying not to die... Below that, I might just get a shot off! DBC
I stopped playing a few months ago. Thought I'd check in to see what's up with the game (changes, etc.) but it seems impossible since this thread has become a personal communication system Anyone care to fill me in on what's been up since the PvP update? (that's about when I stopped)

I'm up for anything. I also want to try voice chat. I have setup a mumble server. There is also a mumble IOS app. The big question is whether or not the app will work while star warfare is running. So if you wanna try it: 1. Grab the mumble app from the app store. 2. Open and click on "Favorite Servers" 3. Click the plus sign 4. Enter the following into the boxes: Description: Whatever you want Address: 24.7.73.84 Port: Leave as is (64738) Username: use your star warfare name so we know who we are password: toucharcade 5. click done 6. click on the entry and hit connect I have created 3 channels to start. Also note my ip is dynamic so it'll change in the future. I will be changing the password periodically, and the server will not always be up if i'm not around. If this works well I may make more permanent arrangements.
