I got a lot of work to do it looks like. I'm going to get the gloves 1st for the power and will have Fortune for everything else. I hope that'll be enough for Mantis. I got a couple of those clips too. Will any of you guys be around in an hour for a run? Will about 50k ammo be good?
I should still be around, provided my net doesn't play up. 50-70k ammo is what you'll probably be needing for the tougher bosses, so it should be plenty for Mantis. That being said, 50-70k is what I use when I'm using a fully upgraded M-27B1 -- not sure how it'll go with a weaker weapon, though I think your main concern would be staying alive rather than how much ammo you use up...

I'm here: your primary concern is to stay alive at this point, so pack your most useful gun at the very least: hyper clips are useful, but I don't think you'll dent Mantis much at this point. Do you want to host, or should I? If you want to host, just tap "Create a Match", go to Co-op, and make sure it's a boss. Select "Wrath of Mantis". Let us know if you put a password on it: at the beginning of the match, I'll show you a relatively safe camping spot if you haven't chosen one already.
Cool, I got my AR, clip, x2 needles, 1 giant heart, and 100k ammo. You can make it...It's my 1st go online.
Password is 3000. Don't use your giant heart, those cost mithril: if you die, we can simply do another round.
Oh, also, to find me, there's a search bar in the online lobby: type "undead.exe" into it, and it'll screen my room right out.
Nice run Like I said though, Mantis dies quite quickly when someone's using a fully upgraded M-27B1 (along with a hyper clip and the Thunder ability) -- it's not quite that easy without something that strong.

We can do another run on Mantis if you'd like, but I'll bring a weaker gun this time: this time, get ready to run and dodge, because getting hit by Mantis with your current armour is pretty nasty. When dodging, stop firing your gun -- you'll move faster that way. Password is 3000 -- you'll get less gold this time compared to the first run we just did, but the gold levels will rest at midnight PST.
Sounds good. Can you show me Trinity if you have it? I need to get to Rank 5. EDIT: Rank 6 to even buy the Thunder gear :/
HMM. Didn't realise Mantis had that little health -- makes the Trinity looked pretty darned powerful with a hyper clip o____O But yeah, as you saw from that single charge...Mantis's attacks hurt quite a lot when you don't have stronger armour. If you have a teammate with a strong weapon, it's usually no problem, but if you're the strongest person there, you'll need some fancy footwork.
Yeah it took around 35% of my health with one hit. What's the quickest way to get to rank 6 so I can start buying gear? I like the bow. Was tempted to get the Light Bow earlier, but I held. Same with Cutter....
Boss grinding, by far. I can try taking you on Poison Pit, but it's going to be a fair bit more important that you camp and avoid damage -- if Mantis took 35% of your HP, then it's going to be all the more important that we try not to let Poison Pit even touch you. I'll bring something a little more specialised this time, password is 3000 again when I've got my gear ready.
