Yeah. But may be better the remove the lines around the laser cannon. I'm guessing your trying to simulate laser cannon charge. May come up with different color scheme, but I like it. Just some constructive criticism.

I select the part of the screenshot I want to keep Then I right click it and copy the layer. then I DELETE the original layer only keeping the second one. Save it as a .psd Open the background image as a .psd Drag the icon of the image (literally from your desktop to to inside the photoshop file) Add the colorations and whatnot. Delete some scraps if nessecary and BINGO! There is your image.
Agreed, I did kind of fail on that, but it was the rough draft, I was going to change the name anyways. Also I trying to see if Superion's beam charging thing would work- I can't manage it. (obviously you realized that) Also I need your help to see the color you want your character- I kind of made my own decision.
Hmm...literally still not too sure how you're "selecting the part of the screenshot you want to keep". Tell me if you're using one of the following tools (I have the magic wand tool highlighted here): I'm going to be sending you a sample of the Thunder Armour a bit later -- I'm not sending you the full file used to create the red armour because the filesize is pretttttty big (I kinda use an excessive number of layers >.>). I'll include some more details in a email (yes, check your email, not your PM inbox) I'll be sending you later about how to play around with it.
The laser cannon's charge doesn't actually look that far off from the draft effects: just maybe a few more lines, and thinner. Jedi, it might be an idea to put your creativity to use and come up with a cooler effect
GUYS. I JUST FOUND SOMETHING COOL. You know how when you do a mithril offer, and you have to reboot your idevice to get the mithril? Well, instead, tap the home button twice, and when the app slider comes up, press and hold on Star Warfare until it wiggles. When it wiggles, tap the minus in the corner. Then open Star Warfare. Instant, app-specific reboot! Much faster than rebooting the whole device

MUCH niftier than turning your iDevice off, yes By the way, your draft character is complete: all we're missing now is a suitable background and the text (background is a liiiiiittle trickier than I thought, I'm trying to make you stand out :/) Also, I turned your LIT07 black -- did you want it white? >.>
