It's positively BIZARRE though, because Freyr themselves are based in Shanghai -- why can the rest of us play together with everyone but their home demographic?? :S
Bleh, this sucks =.=" In the meantime, Fro5tCrown, I guess the best we can do is give you some advice with regards about how to tackle the bosses after Wrath of Mantis. What rank, armour and weapons do you have right now?
Oh..actually I'm saving mithril for trinity.. I love it. I'm rank 7 ><. With hydra head and thunder chest and nova 27(no upgrade lol) . With 7.5 million. Still deciding how to use the money...... By the way , is the free app for 5 mithrils one for a day ?
No, you can do multiple apps in one day, and get 5 mithril for each one -- but you'll eventually run out of apps you can install, because the advertisers remember which ones you've already installed before. New apps don't necessarily come out on a daily basis. I second Lava's suggestion: the Thunder Armour and the M-27B1 are two pieces of equipment that will REALLY help with killing bosses. If you're comfortable enough with the Nova-27's power as it is, then perhaps go for the Thunder Armour first, because I think that's going to use up about 6 million on its own. As a note, however, the M-27B1 has a speed penalty of -2...but it's also more than twice as powerful as the Nova-27. When you use it alongside the Thunder Armour's ability and hyper clips, you can kill bosses quite quickly.
4:35am here -- I told you guys I need sleep >.> Anyway...it might be interesting seeing what sorts of advice is offered to Fro5tCrown from here on in: Thunder Armour/M-27B1 seems to be the flavour of the month, but there was once a time when the Crab and the Nova-27 were quite acceptable as boss weapons...but we've all grown too fond of our chainguns and hyper clips nowadays
Hello, all, back again. I hear that Fro5t is working on his armor and such and he can't play with us :/ anyways, any new groundbreaking discoveries lately? If not, I'll just report in: I'm doing quite well with PvP, I'm progressively steadying my aim more and more with the twin snipers, and the randoms are providing nice cannon fodder for me
As JediKnight said, the full version on iOS isn't free. The one I'm using to edit things is actually the computer version of Photoshop rather than the app, so it's significantly more expensive -- it's an extremely high quality program, if you put it into perspective. Are you asking abut how to perform it, or in what scenarios to use it? To perform it, you fire one sniper, and then change to your second sniper as fast as you can. If you're doing it without a scope, tap the weapon scroller to make it change immediately. If you're doing it while scoped in, it's possible to get a near instantaneous double beam if you started dragging the weapon scroller to the second sniper while you were zoomed in, and then release it after you release the right stick. Look them up on YouTube, and pay attention to how the weapon scroller changes. In terms of what scenarios to use it, it's actually effective at all ranges: at long range, it functions like a beefed up sniper, whereas at close range, you can actually kill Trinity players instantly before they can kill you. The problem is performing it consistently: iDevices can only accept a limited number of changing inputs at once, so if you attempt to tap the weapon scroller while you're changing directions AND looking around on the screen, it might not activate properly.
I do know how to do it. So if the enemy is strafing and if your first shot hits the enemy, the second shot will hit the enemy too?
If you fire the second sniper quickly enough, yes. That's why I use the scoped version of the Twin Snipers -- the beam is much more instantaneous than I can manage with the unscoped version. If you're not confident with hitting a strafing enemy with both beams, I'd suggest you only hit them with the R700-AA -- a drawback to the twin snipers is that it's hard to perform multiple times in quick succession, particularly if you have a lot of weapons in your pack. You might do better trying to snipe them normally with the stronger Railgun if it means you can shoot faster.
Is it just me, but are all of the hackers being replaced with Trinity-wielding, Phoenix-donned, Rambo-like morons? I enter a match and all I see are players with this loadout: Phoenix, Nova, Trinity, Tri-0-Avatar. It's completely and utterly terrible, I tell you!
