You know, this server's starting to get on my nerves. Permissions aren't set up, the owner is abusive to me, and even diamond hammers are banned. Above all, it crashes every 10 minutes. I know you're a Moderator and all, but could we please go somewhere else?
I mean, I'm sorry that it had to be that way, but seeing the server the way it was, and not being able to play on it is sort of frustrating, to say the least.
I have an explanation: he is trying to install a multiverse plugin, and to check if it works, he has to restart it. He is also working on the perms. This is a young server run by a very inexperienced person, but... The vice admin is actually pretty nice
OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH You know how you always have a friend and they're your friend because you pity their idiocy? Yeah Im that guy.
This was from a few pages back, but anyway... Yeah, the one that Lava put up was from a series of quick colour manipulations I did to check whether I had the right shades that Parcheesy, Superion and Lava wanted. It's usually best to remove the background BEFORE you start doing any colour editing, unless it increases the contrast between the armour and the background. Have you been using the layer mask method that I told you about? I told you to do that instead of deleting the image because the layer mask just *hides* the image -- you can make parts of the image you've hidden become visible again by painting in black (or was it white...? One of the two >.>) on the mask layer. Using a magic wand can help you hide entire chunks of area quite easily, and then you're meant to go back and finetune the edges by painting in black or white, depending on which pixels should be hidden or visible. The gaussian blur on the actual layer mask is the next trick you can use if the edges are a bit rough for your liking: that can cause the edge of the image to fade out a bit, which helps it blend into the background. Be careful not to use too much blur, or too much of the image will start becoming transparent. The blur may also be unnecessary for the armours in Star Warfare, because most of them are quite angular, though the curves on the Chaos Armour may be a little harder to trace than the straight edges of the Phoenix Armour. You had the right idea with your last image though: if you can't completely delete something because it's too hard for you, conceal it, and make it look like an artistic style that's part of the image. I can't do any more Photoshopping until after Wednesday, assignment on my end. ------- Went on a little nostalgia trip back to page 100+ or so...man, there were so many other players around that we haven't seen in ages Keep in touch guys!
