I guess you can be creative with either head, as it doesn't really matter. I think that the emphasis on the cannon is best. One last request, if possible, although its quite a big one: if you could catch me with my signature white aura with the laser cannon charging (where the cannon is gathering beam particles)
THAT one is going to be particularly tricky, because the aura and the Laser Cannon's charge are transparent. I haven't yet figured out a way to isolate out background interference from a transparent graphic. I'll give it some thought about how that could be captured, but I'm not entirely sure if I can isolate those two elements out just yet. I *may* be able to simply Photoshop my own impressions of the aura and the laser charge, but knowing me, I tend to go for abstract rather than realistic looks (abstract just means I try to style it as best as I can if I can't make it look real >.>). I might send you on a similar errand as Lava if you've got spare time in your PvP matches: if you come across a wall that's mostly in one colour, and quite smooth (i.e. not very detailed at all), let me know. Walls which contrast with the natural colours of your armour are ideal, because it lets me pick it out much more easily from Photoshop. Given your white aura and the laser charge, though, you'll probably need to find a dark wall that's NOT close to the blue shade of the Phoenix Armour.
Alright, found a somewhat suitable place: In reactor, on the back on those huge panel walls, there's a very solid brownish color. I'd take a screening of what position I'd be in with what features, but I don't know how to upload a photo from iPhone :/ I have a feeling I wot be able to aura myself unless I have a 5slot bag or more.
There are a few places in Y8 Factory that also seem quite suitable; what I'm really hoping to get is a solid RED wall, because no-one is using any equipment that has any major shades of red in it. I can't find a red wall that doesn't have too much patterning or remains a consistent shade though. Ancient Vision is fairly decent, but I'll go check out Reactor as well, thanks Speak of the devil, I think I know what you're talking about. It's right next to the red room in the middle of the map, right?
Yeah, it's right next to it so the walls get a darkish hue to them, and it doesn't really match the blue that I'm going to use.
The red walls may also be acceptable, actually: anything which seems to be composed of fairly simple, solid colours will work quite well provided they contrast enough with the armor components. I should have a decent amount of sample material for now, all that's left is actually figuring out how to get the more complicated bits. Oh, btw...the ECO bag only has three slots. That means that capturing the in-game aura is going to be impossible you either want to change bags/obscure the bag, or forget the aura :/ ----------- Also, two random things while I was fiddling around earlier: a) Freyr REALLY wastes a lot of the detail they put into the environment and the background, take a look through some walls of the PvP and PvE maps and check what they've put in here and there (e.g. inaccssible buildings, graphic doorways on Ancient Vision o_____O) b) The Laser Cannon DEFINITELY behaves differently in PvP: it overheats after 5 seconds. PvE, it takes 10 seconds.
I'm sorta in the mood to reinstall this (my rank is one below the top; spent plenty of time playing this game); can someone tell me what the current installed file size is?
334 MB. Hacker prevalence has dropped drastically because the most recent update blocks GC accounts which use IAP-cracked savefiles, so that's some good news if you're a PvP player. That being said, there are still people dominating PvP matches with the Trinity, and a new danger has been thrown into the mix with a sniper technique that's effectively a one-hit kill on most armors. PvE, it's mostly the same old, I guess, unless you haven't encountered Serpent before. A few new weapons and/or armours to try out depending on when you last played, possibly. Im not sure why the red squiggle is there on the left... But yeah, this is my first photoshop piece of work. SMILES PROUDLY!! The guy is still white but the orange is now blue and green, and the bow is orange.(well, obviously but I'm happy)
