I'm fine with it either way, and I personally would like to see some other peep's designs (And, of course, see what people think about my design)
Yes, good idea. And no, unfortunately, I'm not a beta tester. I've only come up with a new armor/item/weapon/pack configuration that gives you quite a good amount of survivability mixed with a decent amount of killing power.
Okay, these are VERY rough tests for now: like I said earlier, I can't get to proper work on them just yet, but I can do some VERY quick fiddling around to see if I'm heading in the right general direction with poses and colours. Quick note: if there's a very specific angle/pose you want me to do, your best bet is to take a screenshot yourself from the "Customize" screen, upload it somewhere in its MAXIMUM resolution and send me the link. That's particularly if you have an iPad 3, or if your device has a very high resolution. If not, I can get around to it, but I'm going by my own instincts here without a visual aid. ----------- Parcheesy: check if either angle was what you were after, and whether the purple is roughly in the right shade. Superion: again, check if either angle was what you're after, and whether that shade of blue is roughly in the right direction (midnight blue seems to vary a bit according to Google). Also let me know if you're happy with the armor configuration as it is: the Perseus Head looked unnaturally large when I was trying to get an angle on it, possibly because the armor sizes have gradually increased over the last few updates. Lava: I've still got your reference pic from earlier (it most closely matches the middle-right photo in terms of general direction), just checking whether you're happy with the armor configuration. I did your screencap checks immediately after Parcheesy's, and I thought I'd have a bit of fun with your armor and some floating backpacks >.> (something about the FLOAT alongside your armor and LIT07 is making me think "space pirate" o____O) Your colour configuration is the roughest sketch of the lot; I'm going to need more extensive work on it if you're hoping for the glowing bits to emulate a fiery glow, or the actual armor texture to emulate the darker/rockier parts of molten magma. That was mostly just to see what a red glow on it roughly looks like, but confirm with me again whether you want the whole thing to look like a molten magma armor (bit trickier to work with) or just a solid black armor with red/yellow/orange glow.
I do indeed like my picture, although I was actually hoping for something along the lines of Lava, where you could edit in the colors for the armor, I was thinking for the armor to be full midnight-blue, where the armor's glowing etches could be made white...
That looks AMAZING. Floating backpacks I'm not exactly sold on, as they don't really reflect my style... On the other hand, they look WICKED cool... I like the colors, and I don't really think they need to look like some kind of camouflage. The 'space pirate' does work with the armor, given that they regen HP for killing people after all..
A Draco head seems a bit more appropriate. Of the color of midnight blue, it about that shade, but a tiny bit darker.
Actually, take back that white etch. I want it to be a bit yellow/greenish etch on a midnight blue armor if you can. If you need a visual aid, look at Lava's last pic, in the chest area: that etch for the entire armor would look great. So the only major changes are the requests for color (Darkening my original shade, adding in a green/yellow etch throughout the armor), and the change from Perseus to Draco. Optionally, you can make the head also Pegasus, if you feel the etches there would match the suit.
That's what I'll be doing when I get down to it -- this was just a quick colour overlay to see whether the shades are roughly what you were thinking of. The actual style of proper editing I'm aiming for is closer to the first Thunder Armour pic I put up, where I actually controlled the colour for different parts as opposed to making them all in the same shade. Anyway, Superion, you want a Draco Head preferably, or the Pegasus Head as a secondary, right? Both of them look much better proportioned, but they have little to no glow on them in their normal state. I may or may not take some creative license wih that. Aside from that, darken the shade of blue, and aim for green-yellow etch lines, right? I'm not sure if I can replicate exactly what happened with Lava's last pic though, though was quite a random occurrence o___O ------- Lava: so, red glow lines/highlights, and everything else mostly black, right? The weird yellow-green effects were actually an unintentional side effect of some very quick hue manipulation, but given enough time, I might actually be able to control that pattern to some degree as another overlay.
Oh, also...ANGLES!!! Lava, I'm guessing you want an angle similar to your original photo, albeit with your character holding up the LIT07 in a firing position if possible. Superion, did you want emphasis on the Laser Cannon (the right pic) or the ECO backpack (left pic)?
Probably the extra height and the angle of the helmet -- Star Warfare characters have always had a chibi/kiddy look to them, but that angle makes it look older (hence more hardcore ) Take your time, I can't get to proper work on these until after coming Wednesday. I might make myself another one while I'm at it too, see if I can't learn a few things while I'm at it
Nope, read closer: I'd say a good 200-400 pages are from various players trying to organise matches on here. The multimedia editing craze only started within the last month or two, I'd say...
That's 900, and I for one have only been around since page 650 or so... Undeads been here from page 150 onwards
While I'm probably playing right into Crunchy's hands here, we'd account for less than 200 tops if you want to be technical about it >.> Hint: total post counts and maths >_____>
Yeah. Superion and I would actually break the 200 barrier, but that would be if all of our posts are concentrated in this thread (I've got a few here and there, though this is where I'm most active).
