That's why it's not that high on my list. I figured it would be hard to obtain, so I tried to make the guy look cool, even without the gun shouldering. And hello backbench, welcome to the TA thread!
Wellll, the level of power you get from using both snipers on someone is pretty ridiculous, which is why I usually enforce a "handicap" on my remaining weapons if I'm taking in a combo or something dangerous (e.g. no Nova, but a quickdrawn M-27B1 allowed). That's just the way I roll though -- it's arguably fair game to pack the most effective weapons you can think of, but my own view is that I want to encourage others to play PvP for the fun of it, not for bragging rights/to win >.>
Agreed. Although it is fun sometimes to join a low-ranked match an scare the crap out of them, even if I don't do anything useful. Being able to one-shot newbies just makes me antagonize them, but not kill them.
Lava, are you free right now? If so, I'm currently floating around in a passworded PvP match. Join please, and then follow me around. If I stand in a spot and start shooting, it means I want you to stand there and start shooting Or perhaps before that...do you happen to have all the equipment that you want me to Photoshop for your Armor? If not, I could probably try doing it later on my own, it's just gonna be a little tricky trying to operate two iDevices simultaneously >.> Edit: Password is 2002, but this is non-aggressive -- more like a photoshoot than anything o___O
I don't have the chest piece, but one day's boss runs should take care of that... Could you isolate the gun, and use that? I'll get on with most of the armor..
I'm not sure isolating the gun would do it, because the arms are also raised when the gun's being fired. I'll see what I can do on my own, I might have to get creative here >.> If only this game had a reflective surface somewhere...it'd make getting shooting images so much easier o___O
...hmm, communication is proving trickier than anticipated =.=" Face me, I can't get a proper shot of you if you're firing INTO the wall o___O (I'm using the wall as a backdrop)
Okay. Fire the sniper the way you want me to shoot Can't find the match...Internet is a little broken right now...>_>
I'll bring a third weapon to make it clearer. If I'm SHOOTING you/near you with an assault rifle, it means "follow me, picking a new spot". If I fire the sniper, it means "face this direction and shoot". If I pull out a sniper and don't shoot for a while, it means I'm trying to take a screenshot -- I'm using the zoom to try and get a better close-up of your character.
Okay, understood. I figured the cutter meant "cut!" The Viper represents the missing Pheonix, I'll get that...soon
Oops, didn't think of it THAT way o_____O For me, the Cutter is usually the weapon I use to show non-aggressive intentions, because it has no range, and it's a *relatively* weak sword compared to the Windblade. I've got a few reference shots, I'll see what I can do. Sorry if it got confusing when I randomly fired a sniper in your direction, the right stick automatically releases when I'm trying to take a screenshot while keeping it zoomed in (it's...actually quite hard to maintain a steady aim keeping ANY of the heads-up display from overlapping with your character while pressing the home and lock screen buttons on an iPad at the same time o_____O)
I'll have to call it a night now, but before I go, these were the results. All of them aren't the original angle you were going for (I somewhat forgot while doing it =.=), but might be good food for thought later. I think you had the right idea with asking me to go for a side-on angle, because that shows more of the armor's detail than a head-on shot. Reactor: Ancient Vision:
Just as future reference if I reshoot your armourr request with you (I might be able to do it on my own with a little bit of handiwork >.>), I'm usually trying to get you to a spot where the backdrop is all in one colour, and is clearly a different colour from your armour pieces -- it makes it much easier to remove the background during editing. I'm probably going to pick Ancient Vision for your particular armour, because the beige seems to contrast fairly well (the blues and dark shades are actually much closer to the shade of the Phoenix Chest than I originally thought). Also, the smoother and less detailed the backdrop's texture, the better (look at the photos from Reactor and the bottom-left sample from the Ancient Vision collection). I'll be busier this weekend, but if you happen to find any maps with a wall/backdrop that goes well with what I've said, lemme know please Edit: and a third thought...it might actually be a very good idea if you go on my team when we do this stuff. That way, I can keep firing away without harming you, and you can actually walk right on top of my character, align your aim exactly with mine, and fire in the same direction. I'll just need to think of some form of in-game communication to signal all the different messages we'll be needing >.>
From the iOS side of things, I can't see if there's a price on it right now (quite a few of us here grabbed it while it was free). If you're coming from the Android side of things, then yeah, you'd have to pay for it if you want it officially. If you're hoping to pick up this game and put it down within a month while getting all the best equipment, yeah, it's pretty much a freemium or premium game, depending on whether you had to pay to download it. If you're in it for the long haul, then you can get away with not paying a cent in IAPs. I'm not really sure if $0.99 does this game justice given its content relative to other $0.99 games, but IAPs can be quite offputting, I understand that.
I now have the Pheonix chest, so if you want to do another photo shoot undead, I will have exactly what I wanted.
Scratch my head too... I've just noticed how much mithril I had. Buying the Pheonix head, looking good.
Alright, this is as detailed as can get: Midnight Blue Colored- Phoenix Legs/Arms, Pegasus Chest, Perseus Helm (Halfway through the lightup animation) Armed with a laser cannon. I'd also like the name "Umbrablade Superion" if possible, it has quite a ring to it...
