I don't really know, actually, it's just that I'm definitely willing to sacrifice speed for power, seeing as unlike you, I usually ran in more mobile armor sets. I'm throwing around ideas right now, but I've been using suit bonuses to my advantage while fighting bosses- I've recently done a Siegfried in Atom with my laser cannon and the twin snipers technique. Needless to say it was pretty effective. Little fun fact you may or may not have realized about the cannon: Remember when we were debating whether the cannon dealt continuous damage or simply fired five beams a second? Looking more closely at the animation, the beam actually grows larger in size and then shrinks, implying a change in frequency of the beam, perhaps? I'm currently in favor of 5 beams a second theory.
I've been thinking "five beams a second" ever since I tried using it on Poison Pit: the HP bar drops in very obvious increments rather than smoothly. It's harder to notice on Siegfried, and may be too quick on Mantis due to its low HP.

That's probably right. It has probably been released by a third party on the android equivalent of the jail broken AppStore. I wonder if Freyr knows about this.....
I'm wondering how they're meant to play online, actually, given that Game Center is native to iOS. Maybe they'd all have to play as guests, or maybe the mod includes a preset GC login, but this is a rather strange turn of events...
I looked through the links on that video, and.... I don't know...don't think Freyr has released it officially on android yet, there would be some sort of announcement... All throughout the forums, they talk about manually installing files onto their devices, which makes me think that this is not the true android market, which makes it like Cydia is for the AppStore: a black market, if you will.
JediKnight confirmed that the game runs on Unity, and I distinctly remember a developer saying that they're recoding their game in Unity so they can port it to Android. Yeah, I think they just managed to adjust the configuration so it runs on Android. Android has always allowed greater customization and installation of things, so whether non-android market installations are black markets might be a different question. Given that this seems to be an unofficial port of a game which sometimes needs to be paid for, however, I'd wonder where it falls on the ethics scale...

I'm still waiting on new things we can do in the game. ------------- New thoughts: the cracked version we saw going around was "Version 2.10". I'm not sure what the current official version on Android is, but there's a chance we may be exposed to hacked players again if the Android version isn't subject to the same IAP-cracking detection that the iOS version currently has (hence why I'm paying attention to the self-install version being Version 2.10). Not trying to be a killjoy here, but I'm trying to be balanced with my thoughts: the introduction of an Android version certainly gives us many more players to play alongside (assuming we CAN play alongside players running Android, and assuming we haven't actually encountered them already), but I think we may also have issues with hacking as well, given that Android was designed to be more readily customisable than iOS.

I did get it up and my friends joined we did a few runs, it lasted just a day so I didnt post on here. :/ Clans get boring fast. :/ Also Im kind of tired of this game.

Messing around with Photoshop a bit, and I ended up with the thing down below. ...is it just me, or is the resemblance to the MJOLNIR Armor from Halo even more pronounced when the lighting and colouring has been manipulated? o____O
