Same here i have most of the suits except pegesus but im saving my mithril for a vetter one when the update comes. But seriously they should come with an update fast and have some story to it. The only thing we know we are the last hope of human kind(kind of cheesy to me).
Exactly, if you read the intro it says that, and thats my point is that they give you the intro and then boom no story your on your own killing these sisses that cant put up a good fight not even on the hardest level!
Also the intro is like we human blah blah have found mithril and then ailens came, then it was like the last shield generator broke down and now your our only hope or something like that, now go kill the sisses/aliens.
Well after a while I got it, but the thing is that I am REALLY slow with jokes my friends would call and say something it took me a week to get what they meant so sorry if I didnt understand what you tried message me.
They said they wouldn't come out with IAP armour.. But as soon as they let us get a max of like 15 a day, they threw in a bunch of pieces for 100+ but didn't even give them sny good bonuses.. And at this point, there is no difficulty to the game.. PvP doesnt matter much, and there isn't even a story. All the bosses are easy and predictable-maybe just long. But its repetative. Idk what for tho. This is a game that needs constant updates wheather it be new maps, bosses, weapons or whatever.
I hear you. Not this last update, but the one before that where they added only new pvp maps and tweaked how pvp was played. That update was a let down for me, I didn't touch it much after that update. But this last update that released a new boss and etc, that got me playing again. They NEED and I mean NEED to keep the updates coming with new bosses, and like some of you guys posted above me, they need to come up some sort of story-line and possibly revamp some of the levels to make it have more objects. Like protect this pillar/building from being destroyed from aliens and a ton of aliens will spawn not only to attack the pillar/building but some to attack you. This would really keep the game interesting not only for the older players, but to any new player trying out the game might find some of those objective based missions more enticing then the missions where you just kill a certain amount of aliens to clear a wave.
I would love to see at least 4 more bosses, one extremely challenging one that will make me feel like the time i fought the mantis for the first time with that cheap 20 damage SMG... Something that will leave you a feeling similar to killing that impossible hidden boss in an rpg that makes you feel like a god... a horde mode on the PvP maps (But of course, being PvE Co-Op) Weapons with effects like slow, poison, paralysis and sleep. Making weapons more varied in the sense that there are uses for everything... right now the only worth while weapons are the Windblade for high damage and energy consumption, the M-27 as a boss killer and general use, and the Nova so you can shoot and move fast... everything else is jsut stupid or useless. MORE monsters.... there are like what?... 6 monster types?... Objective gameplay like you said... Defend the base doors, defend the auto turrets from being overrun... get to point B from point A in order to plant a bomb and exterminate an alien Hive... HORDE MODE... win points that will let you construct defenses like auto turrets, walls, towers/bases that boost certain weapons stats... mines, bombs, grenades.... am i asking for too much? D: i think imma go play starhawk now .-.
This game doesn't need to feel like Monster Hunter. But then in Monster Hunter, every status effect is useless unless you're status locking, paratrapping or sleep bombing. Also, it would make PvP REALLY broken. All I want are new PvP maps and something like capture the flag and stuff. New armor that ups machine gun damage would be really nice
Reply to Drexiel: You have alot of great ideas in there.. Like weapon add-ons. Fire = more damage, or a burning damag;, poison = could leach their health. And more gametypes rather than just "Oh! There's an enemy! Pew pew!" like.. Capture the flag or manhunt (for PvP of course) and the defending options on PvE. Would add alot more reply value to the game. And maybe one HUGE map, in a canyon or something, enemies still spawning, but your goal is to get to the other side, retrieve information and return to your base (more of a PvE sesation of CtF) but Freyr could inmpliment alot into this game that would make my day.
I think that's a bit much Drexiel. I just want to see new maps, bosses, and weapons/armor for ranks higher than 8. Basically I need to be able to keep improving my character to stay interested. I guess one other thing would be a system that punishes bad play on boss battles. Something like each person gets 10% of the pot. The remaining amount would be divided proportionally based on damage done. This way if you use crap weapons, just run around, or are carried through you get rewarded appropriately.
Yeah... PvP maps you mentioned would be good. Capture the Flag seems like one of the best idea right now, and maybe something like "Team Trophy Kill" like teams can kill each other but the real points is with killing boss monsters. Team who get most boss kills wins, or something like that. On MH, para and sleep are broken. Same with flashbombs. Not useless. Even in solo hunting. But in the end they make players dependent on them and usually end up being crutches.
Also, something like a conquest type of game mode where you capture strategic points in a huge area. Think Star Wars: Battlefront II
