Well, it lets a lot of under leveled players play the game, and all of the hackers are gone, which is what most of us on here have been frantically emailing them about for a while. It also means that people have to get mithril legitly, making them money.
The hackers knew what they were risking when they hacked. It just reinforces my point: you want nice things, work for them.
True. You could pirate apps but don't allow players to instantly get all the weapons once you log in. Not sure how to prevent pirating
And the hackers can sign in as a guest, and still have their stuff....so rule of thumb: avoid guests.
That's what they did: they went through their forums and banned the GC's of everyone they suspected of hacking.
That would (I think) be bad, different gcs usually mean different people... (By the way, avoiding ban could be by creating a new gc account.)
