Well, my PvE Activity dropped dramatically after I realized that there wasn't much being added to the PvE world, with the exception of more freeloaders, so I saved myself the trouble and stopped for the most part. I'm pretty close to rank 10, if that makes any difference.
Hmm, okay...I'm just chugging along, and I don't think I had enough mithril to get much more than the Laser Cannon when I hit Rank 12. I just took a look at some of the IAP conversion rates, and I think you'd need several hundred dollars to actually maintain a high amount of mithril while getting significant amounts of gold. The calculations aren't adding up, at a glance :/

Yeah, I'm not sure WHAT you two are doing, but both of you are significantly wealthier than I was in the mithril department at your respective ranks. I had already been Rank 12 for a while when I joined this forum, and I think I only had a Windblade as well as the SAM bag, Phoenix Head and Andromedae Hands as mithril equipment (the mithril parts of my gold-farming/turtle gear). Man, TapJoy and the extra mithril from the videos and apps must have worked some serious wonders o___O
It may not make sense, but I was able to earn millions by just doing PvP. As of mithril, I was just lucky to have drops and some people guide me through the original boss stages, so I got a lot of my gold there as well.
You would think you would be rank 12... BUYING OUT THE STORE IS TOTALLY RANK 12!!! Did you spam tapjoy/mithril offers?
Another reason for my strange stats: for the longest time, I had a bit of an exp standstill. Meaning that all the bosses I defeated, I wouldn't be credited with exp, oddly enough. I had started noticing after almost a month that I wasn't ranking, but as the exp started flowing again, the freeloaders came in. By that time, I was already partly rich (Mithril and semi-gold) and I simply slacked off PvE because randoms never worked out for me. I earned the rest of my gold by playing PvP. Even at 2,000 per kill, it gets to the point you're averaging nearly 70,000 a match, so that was quick money. Finally, about IAP, I used it to purchase a Lightbow (this was early game, about a week or two after it came out) but not much else from there. I'll go and try to rank up, though, since that Rank 9 marker is getting annoying.
And Jedi, I'm not really supportive of the Tapjoy/Video mithril, as I'd have to delete and download constantly. There was a point, however, right before I joined the TouchArcade forums, where for about a month or two I'd simply log on and collect rewards, which netted me about 30-50 mithril with ease.
Not trying to seem like being the best but... WANT A PvP COMPETITION??? It will work like this: the participants (max probably 12) They will have the first match(2-2 team) an the winner goes against another winner until well, somebody is the ultimate champion. Note: Synthesis combo is NOT allowed. It requires less skill than other thing and requires tycoon. But a -weapon combo is ok. Anybody up for it? Oh yeah and also I was thinking the team part would be nice. Gives Semi-bad people a chance to win.

It does seem that way, doesn't it? I myself would be a rank 12, if only I had gotten experience for those hundreds of boss kills. Truthfully, it might have been that my iPod was extremely glitchy, or that my internet was doing something. I can't really blame it on one thing, but my EXP Bar was just being all buggy and showing me weird numbers. Occasionally I would actually get exp for a boss kill, but I'd get a super small amount, like less than a thousand exp for something that would give me more.
About the Synthesis Combo, it really isn't that helpful in PvP, (Although yes, It's powerful) as the amount of accuracy you'll need to actually hit someone with all the shots is ridiculously high. A weapon combo sounds more accurate, I think if I were to participate I'd include one of those "Full-On Playstyles and Armor Sets" that Undead was referring to me about. If anyone were to bring anything close to the synthesis combo, however, I'm MORE than prepared for damage with the "Ultimate Defense" class I had developed.
As if we needed to fear you more... I want to do some boss runs, ( sorry Jedi, I'll do pvp once we have more people on) anyone want to join?
Well it's not like it's supposed to be feared, it's simply something that should be reckoned with, as the defense on it is ludicrously high. Did any of you realize what Undead meant by my defense is as resilient as "Poison Pit"?
