Actually, the new update sort of "fixed" it. After activating the glitch and doing PvE, the fire rate goes back to normal.
Is there like a peak time you guys play or something? I keep co-oping with doofuses that run around with their windblades out on Sigfried or Serpent, and then have no HP when we get to the boss and die immediately. It's terribly frustrating. It's too bad the game doesn't have some kind of friend list or other way to keep track of people.
I'm gonna be on in about 20 mins. Also, you guys should post your time zones so we know when you guys play.
i play randomly troughout the day...but when I work, which is tomorrow, I usually play anywhere from 9pm to 3 am... oh and Note: I hate it when pepley use the windblade's waves to attack Sieg or the Serpent... that's just plain annoying...
oh wow...so it's not just me getting those type of people. lol I get paired up with them from time to time...it really annoys me...I mean like how would you expect to kill siegfried by yourself with the windblade...but what REALLY annoys me is when people try to melee the boss up close with swords...I mean like come on, if you just TOUCH the boss you take damage so their is no point in using any type of sword or shotgun on bosses...Though I'll excuse the players who are just starting out and are rank 4-6 using the sword on mantis or poison pit..but using it on any of the other bosses is unacceptable..should have learned from their mistakes by then..lol Also, the peak times I usually get on are around the time it resets. Usually anywhere from 12am to 3am CDT...but I rarely stay up to 3am. Also I'm gonna be getting on right now because I didn't get on last night because I had finals today. =p finally college is over for a couple weeks!
Wanna do serpent? I can play for like 15-20 mins and i need the mitril from him BTW... Can anyone tell which armor is the dood wearing in the mainscreen, that's below the Pegasus armor? (the one holding the M-27) I know the armors are Phoenix, Pegasus, Thunder, Draco and then there's the M-27 dood....

So hey.. If Freyr reads this... I think displaying the mithril drop rates for each boss would be a great idea.. Sometime I can't remember which bosses I collect from. Idk if you can get one mithril drop from each boss a day, or the second one is REALLY hard to get, so it'd be nce to know how you guys have it set..

No it isn't just you. I cringe when I see these people because I know I'll have to carry them on the boss. If it isn't mantis or pit I'll just drop. Even worse, though, are the people that simply don't attack at all on the boss. They just run around. If I notice someone doing that, I'll stop attacking and position myself such that the boss will attack and kill these people.
Hahaa I used to do that, but now since you earn more gold for killing the boss with more players, I either just deal with it and solo the boss that has 3x more HP or I just leave. Another type I hate is when people use RPGs on bosses...I mean like good luck trying to even hit the boss and when you finally do it'll be because hes already laying on the ground dead lol. If I didn't know any better I'd think they were purposely trying to make me frustrated and have me leave. I wonder how they expect to solo bosses with RPGs or Swords or Shotguns or Bows or well anything but ARs, Machine guns, and Laser guns. It's just so inefficient it's a little depressing that they think they are actually helping out. Oh well, they'll hopefully learn sooner or later.
With 3 people the boss only has 1.5x it's health. Not 3x lol. But you're right about everythig else. I bought the windblade, an i think it is a total ####ing waste.. Shoulda saved for the Black Stars. Oh well. Nova27 with Atom Set works just fine for me we should team sometime
You basing that 1.5x health off of the wikia? or can you confirm that somehow? Cause that was only an estimate of mine on the wikia haha, I went and actually recently changed it, it's probably increased by 50% per person, so with 3 players the bosses have probably have close to 200% HP, that actually feels about right if you think about it. It takes close to twice as long for me to solo a boss with 3 players compared to doing it by myself.
Hi guys I am new to toucharcade and this forum but had this game for three months and I need your help to help me decide which armor i should use, I have enough mithril to buy a full phoneix amor or the new amor anedrome? Also i have many weapons but dont know which to use i have wind blade lv8, Trinity lv8, m-2871 lv 3, crab lv1, morpheus lv1, nova27 lv3( sometimes i use the glitch) or rail gun lv1? I know you guys have answered many times but im new so, yeah? And thank you!
Fully upgrade the m-2871 and if you can avoid getting hit use the thunder suit. Personally I'm using the thunder suit now, but I don't like the lack of hp. I'm thinking of switching to a mix of pieces since all the other suit bonuses kind of suck. I'm thinking of keeping the thunder hands because of their 20% power, and using the phoenix head, pegasus chest, and cygni legs. This combo gives 24k more hp over the thunder suit and has 15% more power while keeping the 10% gold bonus. When you average the thunder suit 50% power on use (10s with 30s cool down) you're only looking at a 2% average power decrease and a nitro can simulate the speed bonus. Also that 2% is only realized in the best conditions. That advantage is lessened if you have to stop firing to move or you don't use the cooldown religiously every 30s.
If the boss has been run a few times the gold isn't much and I'd rather get less gold while the free loaders get none. People using crap weapons, that aren't swords, I think are just miss informed. RPGs, for example, require tons of energy to use. So it isn't laziness. These people are annoying, but at least they are trying so I don't mind carrying them as much. On that note, I've been thinking of picking up a windblade for mantis and pit trash though. They barely hit for anything and hacking them looks fun.
