That's not really the sense they meant it in; what they mean is a direct player-to-player transfer that functions within the game, such as Superion being able to give away his Nova-27 to someone else if he doesn't want it anymore since he already has the LIT07. Also, let me just say this publicly: besides the obvious moral issue, there's more than one reason you should avoid talk of piracy in here. Let me go a little further than the written rule and say that I've seen someone banned for boasting that he IAP-hacked a game on Touch Arcade (i.e. he never talked about how to do it, just that he did it himself). I would personally suggest that everyone be careful not to talk about hacking in a way which advocates it to be absolutely safe, because I don't really want to see any of us get banned when we're all upstanding citizens here >.< JediKnight, your last post should be fine, but if we even start hinting at how to do it for educational purposes, that might land us in hot water =.="
Weapon Upgrade Formulas ...YUP, turns out all the weapons also follow the same formula with regards to upgrade costs. Here it is: Level 1: (Purchase Cost -- if it was in mithril, then you'll need to get the first gold upgrade to figure out the rest) Level 2: Purchase Cost x 0.3 Level 3: Purchase Cost x 0.5 Level 4: Purchase Cost x 0.7 Level 5: Purchase Cost x 1.0 (i.e. same as initial cost) Level 6: Purchase Cost x 2.0 Level 7: Purchase Cost x 3.0 Level 8: Purchase Cost x 4.5 To make this a better reference post, I'm also including the formula for the power upgrades again: Level 1: (Initial Power) Level 2: Initial Power x 1.15 Level 3: Initial Power x 1.35 Level 4: Initial Power x 1.60 Level 5: Initial Power x 1.90 Level 6: Initial Power x 2.30 Level 7: Initial Power x 2.80 Level 8: Initial Power x 3.50 ------------------------------------------------- Dug up two posts by Drexiel detailing specific weapon upgrades. Thanks for the info from long ago! Windblade and Laser Cannon Black Stars and RPG-31 I'm in the process of applying the upgrade formula to as many weapons as I can on the Star Warfare wiki. If there's a weapon you want to take a look at, check the wikia page, I'll get around to it soon enough if it isn't bought with mithril.
If anyone has any mithril purchased weapons that aren't fully upgraded, please let me know. Specifically, what I want to know is what level your weapon is CURRENTLY at, and how much it costs to upgrade to the next level. That's all I need to know. I just need to know enough information to pinpoint it exactly (i.e. it's fine either way if you say "my weapon is at level 7, and the last upgrade costs $5,000,000", OR if you say "it costs $5,000,000 to upgrade to level 8" -- I just need to be able to understand exactly what you're saying)
How'd you remember that from so long ago? o______O Thanks though! For the record, that puts the Trinity's gold purchase value at $2,500,000.
Don't be afraid to combine it with the Nova or something, the RPG Combo isn't the only way you can fill the gap in-between the Black Stars' volleys...
Heh... To avoid boasting and such, I won't really discuss or brag about it, but I'm proud to personally announce that I have created new classes for myself! Unlike the ones that I posted on the forum showcase, and the ones I've modified off of it, I've made a few new loadouts that are completely suitable for PvP!
The Laser Cannon takes one second to charge up, so if you want to use it properly, you'll need to quickdraw it. Watch out for the modified overheat behaviour.
