    Err, what hybrid are you using, as of now I came up with 3 set ups for pvp. Cygni+stk+wind blade=ninja, atom+stk+laser cannon=ultimate dps, andromedae+trio+mingun/whatever=tank.

    Regarding armors: 31337, you might wanna check out the equipment showcase section of the players group. We all have some interesting setups, and I posted a few definitive (yet extremely pricey) class builds that might interest you. I'm personally running a specialized set of classes (changed from my original showcase post), and most likely something I'll call my "Rage State", where my loadout becomes more radical along with my play style.

    All boasting (if you can call it that) aside, does anyone want to run a quick match or anything?

    Your setups involving black stars are the ones i fear - the only ones I fear...

    Eh, 40% of my loadouts have the black stars incorporated into them. The rest of them focus on one of the three diminating aspects of SW: Either Speed, Power, or Both.

    Well, let's just say that "Rage" changes my more conservative side in PvP into an all out aggressively overpowering side. And for loadouts that already incorporate aggressiveness, well... Good luck.

    Just for the record, when we're throwing the term "hybrid armour" around here, we're talking about a set of armour pieces which are mixed and matched from different sets -- what you described there are specialised builds and playstyles.

    It's actually possible to exceed the damage output offered by the Atom/STK/Laser Cannon set-up, but you'll need more than one weapon to achieve that.

    Not entirely...if the Trinity makes it redundant, I would've thought that the Trinity should be the more feared weapon o_____o;

    And no, the Trinity doesn't actually make the Black Stars fully obsolete: wait until you see what happens when you use them together...

    You sorta forgot to mention "I am making a clan" in this post, because it was copy-pasted over from Freyr forums -- no biggie though, we caught the underlying message :p

    I might say this publicly on the other side too, but I'm in two minds about whether I would want to join. While I would be very happy to be identified as a Touch Arcader, I'm not entirely a fan of the exclusivity and general elitist overtones that seem to surround the overall clan context (clans are generally based around multiplayer PvP games, so it's a rather unfortunate association that comes with it). I probably won't join, but I wish you all the best in setting it up! :)

    That's not out of matches with you. When I say 40% I refer to the amount of custom classes that have the black stars in them.

    I'd like to pvp some time, gamcenter: 31337P4nd4 , any ways I tend to stick to my dpser and ninja, and I was doing tank today, omg so op. I was doing this test with my brother, him being tanker, I being dpser, the r700 max upgraded with 80% damage boost can't do crap to my tanker.

    How'd you calculate an 80% damage boost? No combination of weapons, abilities and consumables that I know of result in such a number (the Atom/STK combination actually increases the damage of beam weapons by 88.5%, because the beam weapon bonus multiples power bonuses too).

    Edit: actually, I just thought of one that can hit exactly 80%: the full Thunder Armour with its ability active, and a backpack that doesn't add any power. I don't think you'd ever encounter someone doing that.

    The primary problem with the Andromedae/Tri-O-Avatar combo against snipers is that you'd need to know when someone is aiming at you for it to be effective: if you're being sniped from outside your field of vision, you may yet be able to survive one or two sniper shots in the Andromedae depending on your opponent's level of power -- but you'll need to use the Andromedae ability to recover immediately, because you'll be left on critical health if they manage to surprise you while your abilities are inactive.

    Good point
    I was estimating with the 80% since the normal damage is 4900damage, and using it with a full atom set with stk let me add up to somewhere around 9500. Also I use the trio w/ andromedae more to take on 4 guys with heavy damage weapons at once.
