Random question: does anyone have an idea of what font Star Warfare's logo is based off, or perhaps a font which looks similar to the subtitle? (The bit which says "Alien Invasion", not the customised "Star Warfare" bit). While I was looking for suitable soundtracks to set the battles to, I realised that making an introductory trailer may also be a good idea, or viewers might miss the major points of the videos: they're about showing that you don't need ridiculous levels of HP to beat all the bosses, and that the game is much better played in a cooperative team (sort of a direct counter-response to the elitist "I am the best/I pwn n00bs/with my expensive equipment" subculture that's brewing in certain PvP communities).
I haven't done an OTS Run yet, but notify me when you want to do one. As said earlier, I express no discomfort in fighting DR or Serpent.
I won't have time to attempt another one until about 4 days later from now -- doing a research assessment (possibly my least favourite type of assessment next to timed exams =.=), and I'm also doing some editing work on the videos right now. Font suggestions still welcome, but for now, I'm actually constructing the letters I need using the samples offered by the Star Warfare logo's subtitle. I'll show you guys later if you're interested.
I find it amusing when I end up in a PvE match with one of the self-identified "Amazing Players" and they run and hide in a corner throughout the match. Perhaps I should be making videos of those runs... Made the mistake of playing a few PvE matches last night after over a week off. How little has changed... High level players hiding during Mantis & PP fights? DBC
http://www.fontsquirrel.com/fonts/Furore Look at the speciemen not the title font. Looks *kind* of like the subtitle... DBC why dont you play some PvP? Im sure your windblade is up for it.
That "D" and "K" might come in handy, thanks! Those two letters are particularly problematic to try and construct with the available text samples =.=" ------------- DBC: I guess they weren't lying about being "amazing players", because I sure am amazed at how or why a high level player would hide against the first two bosses o_____O You should start a documentary on that: "High-levelled noobs in their natural habitat -- freeloading on co-op matches".
Guys, what's my best bet for beating serpent in a group, assuming I use an m27, freedom pack (I caved in), nova 27, and full cygni?
Define "best bet". Strategically speaking, you should have far more than enough mobility to evade every single attack that's thrown at you with the Cygni and STK -- the only reason you'd be getting hit is if you're being a bit careless, or if you're not wearing earphones (directional sound will tip you off as to which direction enemies are coming from). Otherwise, pack two or three hyper clips, and you really should be quite fine during both the enemy rush and the actual boss fight. Maybe bring a health pack too as a security measure, but you shouldn't have too much trouble -- you just might need a little patience because the Cygni doesn't offer the same level of power as other available choices.
He's (she's?) actually not all that bad... First, hope someone else shoots. Seriously. Second, camp during the initial wave! Pick a corner and sit with your M-27B1, and because you have the Freedom, I personally would just leave it running. Third, stay away from the Serpent. Watch the attack patterns. Switch out of the M when it teleports so you're more mobile. Finally, use at least one Hyperclip, and pack a +25,000 HP, just in case... Good luck! DBC

Cygni Armour + STK, 55,800 health. Details were as follows for the power hybrid with Perseus Legs: R100: about 40% each shot Trinity: about 40% each shot LIT07: 11 or 12 shots to kill, so approximately 5% per shot.
