Hard to say, really. One & Omega belong together, with Omega being a prequel to one. Two is standalone, with a different unrelated story. I'd say One, purely because the story gave me some good headscratchers and "oh, surprise?!" moments. Omega's story is nice too, though. Two's is fairly standard, told well, with a few twists. Gameplay-wise Two is the best. They only improved small things, but those make a difference, adding more polish to the game concept. E.g. that you can - mostly - freely choose your team, or that you can go back to story junctions with your current party and go down a different path.
as I've said before, my timezone is GMT+8:00. at my timezone, I'm usually on at 6:00 to 9:00. except for weekends, when I slack off for a bit.
Yeah, it's generally easier for you and I to be online at the same time because of our relative proximity -- but to coordinate a 3-person run, I'd also need to figure out when there's a third person online at the same time as you are.
just tried to solo serpent in thunder armor. used the corner tactic, but got downed by two exploding slimes in a row. shall try it again.
tried again. got through slime round with only 4000 dmg, 2000 from a fly and 2000 from a spider. accidentally disconnected during boss fight though (hit the escape button by accident). gonna try again after dinner.
Good luck! It's arguably harder when there are 3 players, because it may be hard to see where the scorpion stings are going when you have teammates floating around. It may also depend on the exact corner you're using -- from the direction in which all three players are facing when you spawn, I'm usually using the "top left" corner (the one where you're looking out towards some fallen metal on the ground, and the wall will be to your left). If you know where the bull spawns, it's basically the corner that's furthest away from the bull, if that makes any sense.
actually, I camp at the same corner as you. second run, the slimes were no problem. all that's left is getting through the snake itself successfully (no more mispressing escape buttons). if that succeeds, I should be fine with all the other boss runs. but yeah, I probably can't play anymore tonight.
You might want to give Double Rages a spin too: the enemy phase isn't as hard as its Serpent counterpart, but the relative difficulties of the boss fights are debatable: poison makes Serpent annoying if you step in it, but the Mantises in Double Rages can be troublesome given their constant barrage of attacks. A health pack makes them much easier to manage if you entered the fight with at least half your health remaining, but it might take a little more attentive dodging if you want to get through the boss fight without using any recovery items. When you're playing in a team of three, the damage is roughly 1.5 to 2 times greater than when you're playing solo. You'll have teammates to help cover the field, but dodging becomes more critical. Glad you're enjoying yourself, the Thunder Armour's always good for a low-HP joyride when you want things to die quickly
Enjoy -- I think I've just found a faster way of humiliating Poison Pit. Might go record a video now...
I'm EST, so the best times usually for me would be around 5-9PM, which for you, would be about 7-11 AM for you.
This is me playing pvp: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9rO9gSJO0p4 Yes I know I sucked, but it's hard to play and record at the SAME time...
