Go right ahead and try that out if you'd like I'd rather watch and observe, because I'm more confident about my strategising than actual battle performance -- a loss on my part is simply going to inflate their egos, particularly given that I think I've got a bit of a reputation amongst them (despite noting multiple times that I'm probably not much competition in PvP)
Don't worry undead, we know what you mean. Egotistical? Most likely. Not saying that you should tell them off, but it would be better off if you laid a bit of claim to the Synthesis Combo, seeing as you DID publicly announce it (I'm sure that others have seen it or partially developed it before, but never announced it.) before anyone else.
Feel free to do so, Undead. JK, mind mumbling? It'd add a bit more to the gameplay if we were voice chatting on a TDM (Presumably between us and Freyr Forums) And about the sentence, I said mettle and metal, meaning themselves AND their guns, and the players at Freyr rhymed. So I thought it was a cool sentence.
I might just do that if they start getting in over their heads -- I'm starting to grow tired of holding my tongue... ...well, that was a bit of a pointless comment. Main point of this post was, I forgot to acknowledge that "mettle of their metal" IS indeed a very cool phrase
It annoys me how they got mad when I just said I love my pack, I have very busy friends/family and would love to talk about my pack but freyr forums is NOT the place.
You can download Mumble as an app on your iDevice. I know you're not meant to talk to strangers, so I'm not going to ask you to use the voice-chatting feature -- you can simply mute your own microphone, as well as deafen yourself from the voices of othes if you don't want to hear them. The reason I'd still recommend the app to you is because there's a "message" function on it which is practically instantaneous -- it makes it VERY handy as an instant-messaging substitute to this forum or the match set-up thread if you want to set-up a match without having to constantly refresh to see what other people's replies are. If you're still reluctant to download it, that's certainly quite fine, but I thought I'd tell you about one feature I thought you might like
Weren't you using the STK...? Or do you mean your whole set-up, unless I'm mistaken about whatever bag you're using?
Umm...Superion? Mind if I ask you not to quote my comments over here to them over there? =.=" The way I'm generally operating is that my choice of words and communication with their personalities requires a bit of finetuning. How I express myself over here is closer to an unfiltered full-blast, and I daresay that's more likely to get irritated responses rather than having them actually consider anything I'm trying to say =.="
I see, undead, sorry for the inconvenience. It just seemed like something that should have been said. Next time, I won't do so again.
[Edited out: that was probably too long a response when you seem to have got what I was trying to say already]
I don't think you're going to need to do that. I may have taken a bit of a demanding and harsh stance on that, but I had no idea what to say, honestly. I purely wanted to know if they would have been interested in such a thing. Personally, the way you are at the moment is fine.
One should be ready to take back their own words if the situation calls for it -- at least, that's my idea of maturity. Being stubborn and refusing to change your stance or offer an apology where it's due leads to all sorts of chaos.
