Well, it's more of an ultimate defense mechanism combining a few skills. I'm considering it only for certain situations, but I'm only using it with the Cygni, so it isn't as powerful of a shield than with a more defensive armor.
You should try out the players on the other forums if you're looking for bigger fish to fry, then: it looks like quite a few of them are aware of the RPG Combo, so that's where you'll find actual competition with regards to players who can fight with equipment on par to your armoury. Do give them the courtesy of advising them that you're not playing with any weapon limitations though: I already asked them not to subject too many randoms to that kind of torture, though whether they're actually following it, I'm not too sure... As for Nova players being annoying? Well, you can either break them up, or you can try killing them faster than they can kill you. It's not a technique I'm too accurate with myself, but the Twin Snipers are exceptionally handy for knocking them straight off the bat before they can hit you with a barrage. Powerful as it is, I can't figure out how to use that technique quickly, so there's a drawback to the amount of power you're placing into one moment.
I'm missing various pieces of equipment and armour, and there are upgrade holes here and there. Not that it really matters for PvE -- the M-27 and the Thunder Armour make up the bulk of what I need there. All I'm doing now is looking for new reasons to keep at this game before I lose interest.
Anyone up for PvP? Superion you seem (sorry ) weak to me. I actually rarely use a glitched nova(never play 2 PvP in a row. But I can still get a score of 9 to 13 in a FFA. And if I glitched my nova (I never have against you) I couldve gotten probablt 10-13. And you vs. 2 of my kind results in 31-7?. That seems outrageous. You are better than me (curse you black stars) but not by THHAAAT much... But Ill get a LIT... The scores were ffa with you btw.
By principle, I prefer not to subject weaker players to anything that looks too far out of their reach. As strong as the glitched Nova is, I consider that a hint for them: "get that weapon, because it's something strong that you can get within a reasonable amount of time." I generally try to avoid using mithril weapons on players below the Phoenix-class out of principle, unless they're carrying a particularly dangerous mithril weapon themselves.
Keep in mind I'm not using any special modifiers (For example, an extreme power hybrid class) but using full sets of armor instead. I don't think that it matters whether someone thinks that I'm great or not, I like to have my actions speak for themselves. No matter the opinion, 31-7 or 17-1 is still an impressive victory.
We'll need a match with auto-balanced turned off, then. Also need to decide who's allowed what, with regards to equipment and set-up, and who's playing as the juggernaut against the horde.
A normal nova. Yes pretty amazing, how could I have glitched it? I had to go on here thus unglitching it so when I went back to the game and joined the match, I didnt have a glitched nova.
13-9 is a victory against one guy where 17-1 is against 2? They must have been less than 1/20th of me... Tough they had a better nova and same armor... Odd...
