A proper way of making the zombies fast but weak would have been to make the survivors Andromedae users -- absolutely insane amounts of HP, and low speed because of the Andromedae legs. The recovery ability would let them fully recover their HP, but they can only use it once every 2 minutes, which will stop them from continuously recovering. Only problem? The Full Andromedae is set a mithril armour -- too expensive =.=" Maybe just the Andromedae Legs should do it, because they decrease mobility while increasing strength. Alternatively, perhaps try giving the Survivors Draco Armour (no speed bonus on the legs, with decent HP), while giving the Zombies Strike Armour with the STK or FLOAT: they won't be very strong (both in terms of HP and strength), but they should still have much higher mobility than the Survivors if the latter at least has the Andromedae Legs equipped (decreases speed and increases power).
If zombies have Windblades, they're going to be a bit stronger than just "weak" -- but just as well, it's the price the Survivors pay for letting a zombie get close when it's the Survivors who have all the long-range weapons. Perhaps another way of making it more affordable for the Survivors (in terms of Armour) is this: they must equip at least one piece of armour which drags down their speed (Andromedae Legs is quite suitable for this). I would imagine they can customise everything else the way they want to provided it's easy to tell who the zombies are, but otherwise, the ruleset here is up to you. The base idea is "fast players with low HP and close-ranged weapons" against "slow players with high HP and long-ranged weapons", right?
Yeah, your gametype afterall I'm just making suggestions regarding how I see the balance of it all: I've seen what the swords can do when paired with the Thunder ability and the Blademaster, which is why I had to mention that it's DEFINITELY not a weak set-up =.="
I like the idea. Again, feel free to suggest anything, I just want to keep my weapons. I don't mind any armor set (I DO own all of them) just not something like viper or strike armors, that would be... Less than pleasant. Unless of course, you want me to do exactly that, but be a glass cannon (RPG'ers will understand)
I don't know, but definitely long range. I don't mind even wearing full Andromedae, since I own the set, but it really doesn't matter what I ring, just not OP, correct?
How about a PvP Horde/Apocalypse? It'll be an All vs One match, with the one having a custom loadout of choice, while the rest of everyone else gets the basic assault rifle and basic armor and pack (within the first three options of the shop), and the objective is to see how many of them you can take out before you die.
