I don't usually use consumables in PvP, and my usual loadout is generally spread across two or three combat ranges. I don't really like using more than three weapons in a combo for PvP, because that makes my fighting style reliant on weapons within the combo.

Rpg comco: grenade launcher/rocket launcher (both are best nonmithril) and trinity. Quite fun...

Can't say about the grenade launcher, but the RPG would've been comparatively weak. At least it's not as overpowered (i.e. more fair on the general PvP population) as the more efficient variants, I guess.

Hey, what is stronger, Lit or Nova? I know they both have the glitch but I'm not quite sure which is stronger O_O

PvE, it's clearly the LIT07. PvP, it's a bit harder to tell because of the weapon scaling, but assume that it's the LIT07 unless its damage has been scaled down (in which case, the Nova is stronger because of its faster firerate).

    Bingo :p

That, and do you remember how I mentioned that weapons with high power tend to be scaled down in PvP?

RPGs are HUGE targets of this game mechanism. The reason the Trinity and the Black Stars get away with it is because they're technically lower powered weapons -- just that they shoot out three projectiles every time >.>

So yeah...use the Trinity as part of an RPG/explosion-combo, and it's a rather huge world of pain at close range. Though that being said, actual RPG combos seem to have a greater effective range to some extent (i.e. you CAN use them at long range with accuracy, just that they're ridiculously slow).

Don't be afraid to throw the maths right out the window if we're talking about PvP. The scaling makes it near impossible to gauge a weapon's effective strength properly by the power -- the only thing that matters any more is the firerate.

As for the actual damage, you'd actually need a partner to test it against, and then you need to estimate how much of his/her HP is getting knocked off by each of your weapons (factoring in power and damage bonuses). That's where I was pulling my relative figures from earlier.

Throw math right out the window? FINALLY! You see my sister doesnt like star warafre. So she let me install it but never plays it and I cant either so my partner is a viper guy which does NOT help me.
