That may be true, my aim needs work, but with the DPS I'm putting out, light splash damage still hurts a whole deal. I'll need to revise my long range, though.
Is anyone else even bothering attempting random boss runs these days? It's gotten to the point where I'm virtually the only person without a sword... or at least the only person actually killing anything. One example in a seemingly constant stream these days? I ran a Serpent this morning... with TWO other players, both of whom were running around with swords. I know, I know, I should have bailed. After about a minute of both players running around with WBs during the boss fight, I switched to my WB, at which point both other players left the match... Stay classy, people. On top of it all? I need to carry these players to get my max pay-outs, and usually have to watch them collecting 4 Mithril to my 0... ugh. Freyr people, if you're reading this, revert to the old Gold pay-out system (based on how many start the match), and balance the Mithril pay-outs (someone with <1000 kill bonus gets 4 while someone with >100,000 gets 0? Come on.). Thank God for Trigger Fist. DBC
There's an update literally pending Apple review right now, let's hope they fixed it up If they haven't, consider shooting them an email -- their response time is pretty good o___O I'm attempting random boss runs almost as a random troll these days -- mainly to see what people do when they realise that one of the Rank 12s who just joined is running the Thunder Armour. Some people quit immediately upon seeing me, whereas others quit closer to the boss fight. The ones who stick around till the very end usually have footwork skills on par with those of us in this thread, which is a promising sign
My favorite troll move is switching to my WB to match the other players when the first bull comes out... wanna see a room clear out quick? Yeah, if Freyr doesn't do something to level things, I'm most likely out. It's just not fun, which is, well, you know, why people play games... Frankly, one of the stupid things they could fix is the power-ups. I would lose far fewer teammates who were actually playing if they wouldn't keep racing one another to claim their own or steal others' power-ups... Have you checked out Trigger Fist yet? Be warned, it's not easy, but it is so, so rewarding when you do well... DBC
I missed it (was eating lunch) any chance for another one? And DBc, in a level 2 or 3 in Trigger fist, the deaths come pretty quick, admittedly, but Sacred Goat is always fun.
Two takehome exams I need to get out of the way first before I think it's safe to start something new Though yeah, I think I'll join Trigger Fist quite soon. The general community interest in here is starting to shift towards PvP as of late, given the lack of anything new in PvE. There's some fun in it, but I don't think it's really going to keep me interested for long given my general lack of skill at multiplayer in first-person shooters. I might put the video plans on hold if this sentiment persists even after the update. Regarding the power-ups: They *may* do better with the power-ups if everyone got a share in them, rather than the person who picked them up. Then again, I think it'd be better having someone shooting, rather than acting as the team seagull...
Try JediKnight if he's still available? PvP tenses me up too much for my liking to play it repeatedly in one day...
I'm always interested if you want to continue the OTS Videos, since it's always fun to run and challenge oneself at it. Currently though, I will say Trigger Fist is harder than the PvP here at SW, as you can go from full health to dead in 1.5 seconds.
