Okay, got back EVERYTHING and fully upgraded , but instead of STK, I have Dracula, the thing is pretty awesome . Have 20 million cash, it took a long time getting that one and a huge amount of ammo, so I am officially back baby!!!
Hey, you can play with my cousin, vicedestroy he wouldn't mind to play a few rounds with you although he might lag on you and disconnect sometimes
Hey Psience, been a while since we've heard from you! Maybe we should send a few of us over to Asia for short holidays so we can play alongside you I'll actually be around there later on, but that won't be for a few months =.=" In the meantime, we'll either have to wait it out, explore other solutions, or perhaps try catching you on another game around here. Sucks that we can't play yet, but good to know that you're still around
Heads-up about weapon damage in PvP I've got access to two iPads right now, so I conducted some tests for the heck of it. I may or may not create a video compilation to show it to you guys later, but for all PvP players: do NOT rely on a weapon's "power" to determine how useful it is in PvP, because there is some SEVERE weapon scaling in that game mode. To illustrate: I have both the Black Stars and the RPG-31 upgraded to maximum power, and the RPG-31's advertised power exceeds the combined power of the Black Star's rockets by 105 points. I conducted this test with both players wearing full Cygni armour and the STK backpack. When the RPG-31 was fired, it depleted the other player's health by a little under 25% (4 attacks left him with a sliver of remaining HP). When the Black Stars was fired, 60% of the other player's HP went down the drain. ----------------------- Additional results, using two players equipped in full Cygni Armour with STK packs. Some lag was involved, but you can be quite certain that the results for the weapons with low firerates are accurate: Energy Glove/RPG-24: both of these weapons aren't really much in the damage department, they're only noteworthy for their splash damage. R-100 Railgun: two hits with sniper leaves a Cygni player with a sliver of remaining HP. R700-AA (mithril sniper): one depletes between 60-70% of a Cygni user's HP. Windblade: two combos (i.e. four melee slashes) at close range leaves a Cygni user with about 5-10% of his HP. The waves themselves do next to no damage. Takes about 4 waves to remove 5-10% of a Cygni user's HP. Trinity: knocks off about 35% of a Cygni user's HP if all three explosions hit (3 full hits will definitely kill him). M-27B1: It seems to take about 11 hits to kill a Cygni user (there was a bit of lag when I tested this, but I'm going from the number of flinching sounds I heard in making this estimate) Laser Cannon: 9 hits appears to leave a Cygni user on their last sliver of HP (again assessed by the number of flinches I heard) Crab: I frankly don't have a clue about how much damage it does, but it's quite slow. Took about 5 or 6 seconds of sustained fire to kill a Cygni user. NOVA-27/LIT07: The Nova may actually be more dangerous than the LIT07, even when both of them are glitched. It appears that with the damage scaling, the faster firerate might actually make the [glitched Nova deal damage faster than the glitched LIT07].
Most of the tried-and-tested weapons still hold true. In other words, the Trinity and Windblade are still lethal at close range, and the Nova is still as powerful as ever as an all-range weapon. However, the following *may* be strong misconceptions we've held by relying on numbers and calculations, which are no longer as reliable given the presence of scaling: A high firerate may be more crucial than high weapon damage, since it seems like the more damage a weapon does, the more it's scaled down. In this vein, the LIT07 may not be as strong as the Nova, because the Nova's glitched firerate is still faster. I cannot say for sure with the lag during testing, however. The RPGs aren't nearly as strong as they sound due to the scaling. The exception is the Black Stars, because each rocket seems to be subject to less downward scaling - but it still fires 3 rockets The assault rifles may be MUCH stronger than we originally anticipated. I tested out the strongest one, and it may actually be on par with the Nova. It definitely feels stronger than the Crab. Anyway, the Trinity, Windblade and Nova continue to be strong weapons in PvP, but it would be wise not to underestimate the assault rifles from what we've seen. ----------- Parcheesy: read above, I completed the sentence. Not sure how that happened o__O
