Whoa, that much? You should be quite fine then, provided Serpent doesn't aggravate you too much For the record...when you have players who are actually using M-27s (and preferably hyper clips), I daresay Serpent is easier than Double Rages - I keep getting clipped by their projectile attacks, which is why I bring a healthpack if I'm thunder-gunning them =.="
not the enemy wave for sure By the wave, there is this awesome pack (That I can't afford) that regenerates 70 health every second for your teammates. great for carrying noobs probably
I must admit, I'm generally hoping to avoid defensive packs for the Thunder matches, because I'm primarily trying to demonstrate how you really don't need Phoenix-level HP for the bosses when you trade it off for speed and power. Some match configurations using team packs certainly sounds like something to try out later, if people have any spare mithril (where is Superion when you need him >.>).
Discoball on the dancefloor? Use what you're comfortable with in clearing the crowd safely and effectively. I'm not going to complain provided you guys are shooting
I did a solo siegefried with STK-06-ZZ and no health packs. I got 3 mithril (glad I soloed it online)
Not bad Double Rages may be a slightly trickier affair if you're trying to handle two of them at once, assuming you don't ever want to stop firing your gun. ----- I might save the Mantis run till a little bit later, actually. I just thought of a few possible finishing moves I might wanna try out if I can get the accuracy down properly. If I get it down, I may upload a short preview on youtube (Finishing moves in question are a few different combinations of the Youtubes I uploaded...when they're strung into a single combo o__O) Edit: combo works, but it's really just for show against Mantis in particular. It's going to be completely useless against other bosses because it's too hard to do properly, and I can't do it quickly unless I use both hands. I'll make a short video showing you guys what it is tomorrow
Thaaat's where you'll want to exploit your speed to the maximum, and have a VERY good idea of how much range that shockwave has (it's ridiculously huge). If the Serpent was lagging though, then there's little you can do about that, damn laggy snake =.="
ROFL!!! Okay, just for the hilarity of it all: who wants to see how you can kill Mantis within one second when you're playing alone? I shall make that video tomorrow, but Thunder Armour + STK + Hyper Clip + Thunder Ability + Twin Snipers can make the poor insect kneel over in less than a second. Or maybe I needed the rocket too, but it dies unbelievably quickly if you know what to do Edit: Okay, didn't need the rocket. Poor thing got swatted to death already with the railguns
Found out some VERY interesting news just then, courtesy of the Freyr forums... You know how we kept saying that the Nova is the most versatile weapon in PvP when it's glitched? ...as it turns out, the LIT07 can be subjected to the same glitch. Firing rate changes from 0.28 to 0.18 after playing a PvP match, making its damage output even higher than that of the Laser Cannon!! (3694dps vs 3500dps, if you were wondering) It's a clear no-brainer then: once you glitch the LIT07, it completely surpasses the Crab as a boss killer. The Crab still seems to have the upper hand for taking out PvE enemies in the alien rush due to its splash damage though (particularly if you use the freedom bag with it)
http://www.ifreyr.com/topic/crab-or-nova/ Stardustdr4gon mentioned it on the third post of that thread. It was something I just never thought to try before, but it seems incredibly powerful.
So LIT and NOVA are both lasers right? Turns out the green one also has that glitch, its power is 90 and firerate 0.20 after glitch. I would reccomend this for noobs... It is only 320,000 and 1575dps with glitch. Pretty good for a 320,000 weapon.
...something is seriously up with that class of weapons. I almost think Freyr put that glitch in the game intentionally, because all of the laser guns fire faster in PvP o___O
