    Hey ThePowerofLava(can i just call you lava?) We should play together sometime.

    Oh and @DBC, as for some tips in pvp, just use the windblade, if a person does bad with a Windblade, then that guy has some serious problems:D:D

    Yes, up to the rages in multiplayer. I haven't tried Siegfried in singleplayer yet, but I will.

    it's easy to kill people with an rpg.the only people i have trouble killing is other WB or trinity users because i have a trinity myself.

    no. RPGs are nothing to fear when you have WB. just hack at everyone, and stay some distance with a gatling gun to kick some trinitys off the grid.

    EDIT: trinities???????

    Allow me to just say that if any PvP tycoons have been reading this thread, RPGs (note the plural) can be a HUGE problem to Windblade users.

    One RPG? As long as they're not staying at mid-range from you, yeah, you should be fine. MORE than one RPG? If they know what they're doing, that's more dangerous than the Trinity...and you don't necessarily need to be facing more than one opponent to see more than one RPG...

    TL/DR: it's not so much about being able to suck with a Windblade as it is realising that there are powerful counters to it, even at close range...

    You see, that 2 RPGs on 1 person is much too rare. Also I have not seen one player in PvP(besides you) use the 280 mithril RPG. The green one + black stars? I CAN still beat them, the dps of their combo is 450*3.5*100/170 + 720*3.5*100/180 ~ 2326. the DPS of trinity is in the 2400s, they are about the same dangerous. But paired with cyngi, yes it overpowers the trinity by a little bit... But it is still quite dangerous

    Test Data Concerning the Damage of the Windblade Waves

    [REVISED AS OF AUGUST 12 2012]

    Alright, I just ran a couple of single player matches to try and determine how much damage the Windblade's waves do.

    My tests rely on the assumption that the Dracula backpack's ability will cause you to recover 65% of your weapon's effective damage per projectile when its ability is activated. The rationale for this assumption is from the results of tests I carried out earlier, found here.

    The results and variables are as follows:

    ---------------------------------------------

    TEST DATA FOR WINDBLADE PROJECTILE DAMAGE

    ----------------------------------------------

    Equipment Configuration A:

    +45% additional power:
    • Phoenix Head (+5%)
    • Perseus Chest (+10%)
    • Thunder Hands (+20%)
    • Anrdomedae Legs (+5%)
    • Dracula (+5%)

    Weapon Used:

    • Windblade: 1268 (875 base, +45% power)

    Test "Windblade Wave" 45-A:
    (Tested on a Bull in Siegfried, Single Player Mode)
    27,533 --> 28,191 --> 28849
    (Windblade + 45% power, melee attack did not connect --> 658 total recovery per two wave slashes, presumably 329 recovery per slash)

    Test "Windblade Wave" 45-B:
    (Tested on a Bull in Siegfried, Single Player Mode)
    24,473 --> 25131
    (Windblade + 45% power, melee attack did not connect --> 658 total recovery per two wave slashes, presumably 329 recovery per slash)

    ----------------------------------------------

    Equipment Configuration B:

    +20% additional power:
    • Phoenix Head (+5%)
    • Cygni Chest
    • Andromedae Hands (+5%)
    • Anrdomedae Legs (+5%)
    • Dracula (+5%)

    Weapon Used:

    • Windblade: 1050 (875 base, +20% power)

    Test "Windblade Wave" 20-A:
    (Tested on a Bull in Siegfried, Single Player Mode)
    24,958 --> 25,502 --> 26,046
    (Windblade + 20% power, melee attack did not connect --> 544 total recovery per two wave slashes, presumably 272 recovery per slash)

    ----------------------------------------

    Equipment Configuration C

    +5% Additional Power:
    • Perseus Head
    • Cygni Chest
    • Viper hands
    • Perseus legs
    • Dracula (+5%)

    Weapon Used:

    • Windblade: 918 (875 base, +5% power)

    Test "Windblade Wave" 5-A
    (Tested on a Bull in Siegfried, Single Player Mode)
    20,182 --> 20,658
    (Windblade + 5% power, melee attack did not connect --> 476 recovery per two wave slashes, presumably 238 recovery per slash)

    ----------------------------------------

    Error checking: ratio of single Windblade Wave to single Windblade Melee

    Note: the previous ratios of 26% I obtained are WRONG. I forgot to account for the fact that the amount of HP recovered per slash using the Dracula only accounts for 65% of the damage that would have been done when the ability isn't active. The previous figures needed to be divided by a further 0.65, and the calculations below have now been adjusted to reflect this.

    (329/65%) / 1268 = 39.9175% (From Tests 45-A and 45-B)
    (272/65%) / 1050 = 39.8535% (From Test 20-A)
    (238/65%) / 918 = 39.8860% (From Test 5-A)

    ----------------------------------------

    Current thoughts:

    The previous estimate I gave of the Windblade's waves being 26% of the advertised melee damage was incorrect, because I forgot to factor in the ratio of HP recovered compared to original effective power. Factoring in the missing component, 40% appears to be a much more reasonable number given the rounding errors.

    Conclusion: The Windblade's waves do approximately 40% of the damage that the game says the Windblade will do on the Customise screen.

    Note: I previously thought that it would be impractical to confirm whether the base damage of 875 represented the Windblade's melee component alone, or whether it's the total damage of the melee and projectile. However, reviewing my past tests, I was actually able to use a Cutter on the bull. How I managed that without getting hit, I'm not too sure, but I may confirm this later on, along with the calculative effects of the Thunder Armour's ability and the Hyper Clips.
