Yeah, I hear ya. Sadly, there's a bit too much BS in general on TA these days for my liking, but there isn't another online game forum that even comes close to the overall maturity level of TA, so I'll take the good with the bad I guess. Sometimes searching doesn't get you what you want, and I'm sorry, but I'm not going to read 500 pages to find out that the Windblade is a good Mithril purchase when I can just ask, ya know? Anyhoo, for whatever reason, this thread seems to remain fun, flame-safe, and ego-free, which is pretty sweet. DBC
Ahh, thanks for putting it into perspective, timedblades. I'd understand that sentiment more if the thread was only 20 pages long and/or there was a centralised guide (which our resident scribe, Sheinfell, is working on ), but that seems a bit unreasonable for threads spanning thousands of posts o__O I think I could do with being flamed a bit, actually -- the weather's pretty chilly over here as of late >___>

I'm at rank 9, have almost full Perseus armor ( minus hands, have them tommorow, need more cash ), and STK pack. Nova, WB, and Railgun are my mains, but I try to switch around a little. I enjoy both PvP and PvE
Sounds good! Maybe you can give some of us (OK, me) some PvP pointers... I fear I'm terrible at it... I usually run the M-27B1, but I just picked up the Nova a bit ago, mostly out of boredom... WB on the other hand? I loves me some WB. DBC
@ CM - You mentioned this a bit ago and I never responded. Don't sweat the power-ups when we play together. When I'm playing with friendlies I'm not too concerned one way or the other. I mostly pick them up because I run over them or they're in my way... I do very much appreciate your concern, which yet again reminds me why I stuck with this game to begin with. This group of players. So, to recap, I've got more money, Mithril, and ammo than I know what to do with at this point, so regarding power-ups, whoever gets 'em, gets 'em! Good? DBC
Pointers? Um... Stay at the top of the map, or the spot where you can see most of the map, keep moving, an zigzagging is probobly the best thing you can do if you are caught in the open..... Oh and picking up the nova is a good choice. The m-27 has a lot of power, but that comes with a -2 speed penalty. The nova has no penalty, and is still very powerful.
@Anyone: If the unthinkable happens (thanks, wacky schedule!) and you should play with me, feel free to pickup powerups to your heart's content. This turtle is too slow to get them anyways

Oh, and showing your total ignorance about the game is also a good idea. And don't forget to sprinkle everything with lots of exclamation marks. Finally, sounding like a whiny spoiled brat when someone does not appreciate you always makes for a great finish. Now, time to give our audience a taste! Right, Bubba? Sure thing, Jim-Bob!
