I do have it, but I'm not good at low fire rate weapons. And it will take me a while to level 8. But I'll give it a shot

Doesn't the lack of lateral range bother you?

Yes it does, but I don't have enough mithril to buy a trinity and other close range weapons

Do you have a Windblade? You can grind for that in about 2-4 days if you can force all the bosses to drop mithril twice.

Granted, they're a bit unreliable these days...The bosses dropping mithril, I mean

Yes I do, but perseus users are a problem
Now I only do one drop when I have time
How much mithril do you have?

You CAN hack them to death, but they're just sturdier than your average foe. A blademaster effectively negates their melee resistance.

The other way you can go about it is to switch weapons on Perseus users specifically. You'd only be in trouble if you're having a hacking match with a Perseus when you're not one yourself. Though yeah, trinity circumvents that completely for a drop in speed.

Yeah, windblade users with Blademaster are quite dangerous, but I still prfer trinity. Though I have something to try...

If you see a thunder user with a Windblade and a blademaster...do NOT get close to him. That combo is freaking lethal.

I got 3 flags and 3 flag assists and 10 kills and no deaths, with STK-06-ZZ and pegasus head, perseus chest and legs, and thunder hands. You were right undead. You were right...

You know how I said that you can't win a hacking competition with a Perseus user?

With a Thunder user who also has a blademaster and a Windblade, there IS no competition - as soon as he gets within chopping distance of you with his ability activated, you will just drop dead after one or two swings. Also consider the level of speed he has - it may only be for 10 seconds, but he'll have the same speed as a Cygni equipped with the STK.

A Perseus might stand a chance against the Thunder, but you really don't want to fight against that level of power if you can help it. Take out blademaster users from a distance if you can, because their backpack offers no power bonuses to any other weapons.

The HYD allows you to take a fair bit of punishment, but the idea with the STK is to minimise the punishment you take - either by using the extra speed to dodge and duck for cover, or by simply KILLING the offender outright with your extra power.

Both packs have their uses - just pick the one you like the most. I'm impatient, so you know which way I'm leaning :p

Was that the STK with your hybrid armour? Or do you still have a secret weapon/tactic to unleash upon us? :p

Try fighting a pair of them - I've played a few games where two Atom/Nova users travelled together, and it was one of the most stunning pieces of teamwork I've seen. It's getting beaten down by that set-up which prompted me to use guerilla tactics and the Black Stars to begin with =_=

The Laser Cannon is a matter of taste, I suppose. I'm becoming increasingly certain that it's actually firing 5 times every second, and if that's the case, I'm VERY much disliking how you can't tell when the actual "shots" are happening because you can only see one continuous beam. You probably need to try it yourself to be certain, but it's definitely not just a souped up M-27.
