So with float you can go up to 12 for awhile? I just figured it maxed out at 10..o guess cuz I've never seen it be 11.
Unless there's a cap, the theoretical maximum speed is actually 15: Base speed: 7 Full Thunder Armour: +1 Thunder Armour ability: +2 (10 sec) FLOAT bag: +1 FLOAT bag ability: +2 (30 sec) NO5 Booster: +2 (30 sec, consumable item) If you manage to use that all simultaneously, you'll have 15 speed for ten seconds, before dropping down to 13 for the next twenty. Alternatively, with the Cygni armour, you'll be running around at 14 speed for the full thirty seconds. Note that all three numbers are complete and utter overkill - you'll probably have serious difficulty trying to run-and-gun simultaneously because of the sheer mobility under your belt, assuming the number doesn't cap off at 11 or 12.
Right now I have speed 7 with trinity in PvP and health regeneration and 1.5 power and 45500 hp. Feel my power... Mwahaha.
Usually, I would just rush to my enemy with my laser cannon and circle around them, obliterating them into smithereens. Unless, they have Trinity and Windblade (cough cough DBC and Jedi Knight I'm talking about you guys) I would stay out of their reach and disintergrate them from afar.
I can vouch for speed builds working in PvP, but not as a passive/non-aggressive role. I use the Cygni and STK to facilitate a hit-and-run playstyle: it's used to either hunt down opponents in an attempt to get the initiative on them, or to run for cover if someone spots me first. The mobility influences how long you survive, that's something I'm dead certain of.
LOL! With the FLOAT activated and the Nova I end up whizzing past my adversaries half the time... DBC
You might actually benefit from having the M-27 weighing you down if you don't wanna be a pacifist when your FLOAT is active >.>
What armour and bag do you use in PvP? I recall Phoenix being particularly popular before, and after hearing about JEdiKnight's research into HP recovery and regeneration, I suddenly understand why they're all the rage...
Pegasus armor is good when paired with the hp regen pack. I think it was 25% power and 15% chance to block an attack
First ever post of this thread: January 21st First post of page 100: June 25th Anyone else amused by how we've been responsible for 400 pages of posts in one and a half months?
Does anyone have a list what armor/weapons you can buy at which rank? I should have time to work on my guide some more today, but unfortunately only made a few notes about this.
EVERYTHING you want right here, Sheinfell: http://www34.atwiki.jp/starwarfareapp/pages/15.html Sadly, they didn't track the upgrade costs and power at each level of the weapon, but that's the most comprehensive and succinct guide I've seen around. This is what the columns describe, from left to right: Column 1: Weapon Name (no brainer) Column 2: Unlock Rank Column 3: Purchase Cost (Blue is gold, Red is mithril) Column 4: Power at Lvl 1 (i.e. no upgrades) Column 5: Power at Lvl 8 Column 6: Firerate Column 7: Energy Cost Column 8: Description (I can't translate that much Japanese >.>) ----------------- Edit: Bonus goodies from the same website: Armour Consumable Items Weapon Data (I'm still figuring out what all the columns mean, I'll post again and explain when I've got it all worked out)
Great, thanks alot! No worries about the translations. I only need the equipment ranks to work some recommendations into the guide.
Second post regarding the weapons table from an earlier post: http://www34.atwiki.jp/starwarfareapp/pages/24.html Okay, I figured out what's going on here. Basically, this table captures various statistics for the top two (or in some cases, only the top) weapon in each weapon class. The column details are as follows: Column 1: Name (again, a no brainer) Column 2: Power at Lvl 8 Column 3: Firerate Column 4: Energy Cost Column 5: Energy Efficiency, i.e. DPE Column 6: DPS Column 7: EPS (they referred to it as "consumption") Column 8: Weapon Class (they referred to it as "remarks") If anyone who wrote that wiki is reading this, thanks a lot! It helps a lot of players having all those ratios and pieces of data in one place like that
