What are you guys dps? I mean, your best DPS in the actual boss fight? Mine is excactly 7000. What are yours?
I can't say for certain without using the Dracula to test out what the Thunder Armour and the Hyper Clips actually do, in terms of calculations. Where did you pull 7000 from? (i.e. what weapons, calculations, etc)
Hybrid M-2781 if math correct. My power is shown as 1190 and so 1190*100/17 = 7000 Without hyper clips and abilities I meant.
I used this --> http://tinypic.com I think I set the size to 800x600, because anything larger than that appears to stretch and distort the forum's posts. As for your calculations, yeah, they're right. Without abilities or hyper clips, that's pretty much the maximum damage you can do with only a single weapon. Suffice it to say, I take longer than you to finish boss fights, if that's what you wanted to know
What armor/pack do you use? I have 1120 with the M27 and my "money loadout" as posted in the showcase.
Sheinfell, his figure's a damage-per-second calculation. Per bullet, he's doing 1190. In his terms, you're doing 6588 dps.
I wanted to know if packs really have that large of a difference in power, my power pack is not much better than gold packs... Thats what I wanted to know...
I know, I was just wondering where the difference between 1120 and 1190 comes from. Was too lazy to do the dps calculations in my head Must be some piece that gives an additional 5% or so. --- EDIT: not 5% of whatever, 10% of the M27 base damage. Question answered itself, it seems
Your armor doesn't seem like just gold farming, it is a mix of power and gold... if it was gold you would not use STK...
It's about comfort and functionality, really. A fully-geared gold farming set-up with the Andromedae Legs drains quite a bit of power and speed, and it's not necessarily all that enjoyable to fight with little mobility or firepower. The STK offsets this by giving power and mobility back, which allows you to fight normally while earning some extra gold.
Sorry for the late reply. The touch and go is useful especially in poison and if your slow. But a big drawback is that if you get hit by a charge or melee attack and fall back, it won't last long enough for you to get away. It's better than blademaster because it has one more slot

Hhmm, I did use the STK for fighting Serpent, changed that to FLOAT a few days ago. Goldfinger set uses the SAM-05. Yeah, noticed that too. But I do not like the audience over there. Too many whiners, obnoxious kids and whatnot. Atmosphere here is much nicer Enjoo: Thanks for the input on the Touch&Go.
Hmm. Personally, I think Freyr's forum may be a little more suited to organising multiple different ideas and discussion topics simultaneously than what we've got over here, simply because they've got the capacity to hold multiple threads. However...I daresay our discussions here are considerably more in-depth because of the number of perspectives bouncing around in here: we've got people talking about the gameplay dynamics, player interactions, general strategies and tips, and a few hardcore researchers/mathematicians. I like how things roll in here Edit: Forgot to mention that we've got a hardcore scribe who's capturing all the information and knowledge being thrown around in here
