Hi there, and welcome to our merry band Definitely get the full Thunder Armor before you go for anything higher. Thunder is the best midrange armor, hands down. Well, the energy glove is my favorite weapon in the game, It's kind of like the Trinity, it is close range and has a splash radius, and the other weapon I use is a Lvl 8 cutter, I guess that they are both close range , but the difference is that the energy glove has a splash radius. Yeah, I guess that's about it
I just beat Serpent with a bunch of RANDOMS. but I guess I was pretty lucky not getting any freeloaders. one guy was using the morpheus (which is OK i guess) and the other guy was using his trinity/m-27/laser cannon. I was using my crab cause I didn't want to get hit using the m-27 (now lvl 6!!). Unfortunately, the one with the laser cannon died Oh, and btw, this is my 100 post!!!!!!!!
*cough trinity* *cough* Crab maybe? If you don't want to spend mithril that is... I got the best assault rifle for ammo saving but contributing to bottom level fights. Also for survival mode saving ammo... Windblade is not what I like anymore... Yeah a gun for survival mode... Gonna get LIT but can't afford right now. =.="
Welcome to our thread, we bring the math into the game... (mostly undead and I The DPS is like this, 2 shots every second: 250 power, fully upgraded is 875 power 2 shots making the DPS 875*2 which is 1750. Versus the trinity which is 2423 ish. My favorite weapon, which one do you like more? since both explode maybe multiply the DPS (hit multiple aliens at a time) but the trinity is better damage wise. Do you have the trinity? M-2781 is forum favorite except for me-ish(trinity) and Superion(laser cannon)... Beware of him, he steals star wars lunch boxes. Get thunder no doubt but my recommendation is following hybrid armor eventually to fit your style, close range favors speed so STK-06-ZZ is no doubt and also speedy boots. Energy glove is okay but maybe upgrade to trinity? Just a thought.
I think everyone already beat me to it (damn timezone differences), but according to the calculations, the LIT07 is pretty much as strong as the Crab, in terms of damage output. Since I've never been able to bring a glitched Nova into boss runs (the firing rate always seems to correct itself when I try), I'd be recommending the LIT07 over the Nova, like everyone else here The Crab itself is another option as a splash damage substitute to the LIT07's piercing properties. The Trinity is another mithril option too,if close-ranged fighting is your thing. I think it's worthwhile noting that the Trinity and the Windblade are NOT perfect substitutes: while the Trinity's effective range is greater than the Windblade's, the speed penalty makes the weapon feel significantly slower for me because I'm not holding down the right stick with the Windblade while "running and gunning (slashing?)", whereas I am with the Trinity because of its continuous fire. Hmm...I don't think you'd like the railguns, but they're quite possibly the closest simulation of a crossbow from a certain other game (low firing rate, high damage output, ability to pierce multiple enemies). They're most efficient when you fire them WITHOUT zooming in, but I'm still guessing that they're probably not your thing since they require too much precision in a game that's geared towards spraying high powered weaponry. If you DO want to try, maybe save your mithril and go for the gold railgun instead.
DBC first of all: ^this^ but... Try the first railgun first... You might end up not liking the 190mithril gun... Maybe also Black Stars or a pack like maybe umm Float? Your everlasting longing to it is explained by the poison dodging, power adding, gold giving, and speed boosting. Epic. But not cheap. Probably for you get the LIT or F.L.O.A.T (or Trinity, couldn't resist.) for mithril Crab or first railgun or anything, gold is easy get for gold. If getting LIT you would probably want to try out nova and if getting trinity, there really isn't anything gold like it so maybe a bazooka would work the best? But remember it fires almost 3 times as fast.
