It's $1,000,000 gold, with 2000 HP and 1 speed. The Float pack significantly outstrips it beause it similarly addsd 1 speed, but also 20 power and 10% gold on top of it. It also has the ability to add 2 speed for 30 seconds (60 second cooldown). The only drawback is that it has 500 less HP than the T&G. However...remember that the Float pack is 120 mithril -- that isn't exactly spare change for most players =.="
Well, the player wasn't using wind blade, just being a moron with a cutter >.> and yeah, I guess the sniper wasn't really that bad...oh, and the rail gun wasn't fully upgraded that's for sure V.V
Yes but in close range you can kill everythingin front of you but I can't notice some aliens behind me and the boost has a color (blue) swirl around me and I can take notice of it when I can't notice my hp going down(it is so insifnificant sorry for spelling >.<) and the red frame is half rare and I don't really notice, it is great for that, I do admit the FLOAT is better for the boss fight but not for the alien wave... Maybe by a tiny bit smaller than an electron...
^This^ I've found it pretty hard to die on Serpent, especially from poison, provided I'm wearing the Perseus armor set. I stopped using floating packs a while ago, and have yet to die on Serpent since switching {DBC crosses himself, sprinkles Holy Water on his face, and says 10 Hail Marys...}, although I did have to pop a +25,000HP once a while back to save my 1,000,000 Gold pay-out. Not sure if the +25,000HP ended up being necessary, but I wasn't taking chances... Even with (or especially with) a bum team, the STK + HC combo is immeasurable in it's benefit in Siegfried, Serpent, or Rages fights. Avoiding damage? Meh, that's what dodging is for... DBC
Hmm. You haven't played alongside Superion, right? I think you might actually benefit from taking some of his technique on his Laser Cannon to avoid getting hit a little, if you're not already doing so. (Yeah, I know you two have a rivalry going, but forget about the idea of "owning" fighting styles and "tooting your own horn" for a second >.>) What he does is he stands in the middle of the map on flat ground, and tries to make enemies come to him from all directions. He then sweeps his laser around in arcs while also running in a circular motion himself. While I previously referred to it as "circular point defense", it's probably better classified as an offensive tactic because its foremost purpose is to kill many enemies quickly by drawing them to you, while defense is a second priority fulfilled by killing things before they reach you. True defense would be where your first priority is to avoid getting hit, and you're instead limiting the number of directions enemies can approach you from by positioning yourself in such a spot, usually a corner. (I'm not sure what the point of that was, but I felt like rambling a bit ) Now, because you're playing with an offensive style in mind, and because the Trinity's explosions allow you to cover a slightly wider angle than us with a single shot, I think you could do a similar sort of thing by creating a circular wall of explosions if enemies are approaching you from multiple directions. You might want to experiment with how much of a circular space you want, as it'll give you time to fall back towards the centre of the circle of enemies are catching you by surprise from any direction. -------------- On the other hand, if you're already doing all of that...ignore what I just wrote
Funnily enough, after watching how you used the Cutter quite a while back, I was 90% sure you were taunting all the poor aliens with "CAN'T TOUCH THIS", complete with MC Hammer background music
TL;DR Version: If you know how to use one, you're going to be amazingly effective. Watch Undead or Myself in a match, as we both use the Sniper as our secondary, but we have different primaries. I think he's a Blastoise, He thinks I'm a "shoop da woop" disco ball for the way I dance around and annihilate the enemies. IIRC, Undead, you once referred to me as the Janitor of Siegfried
Indeed. I thought you'd prefer having your image associated with a dance king rather than a guy mopping the floors, though
Scaling: There you go. I've definitely died from a rank 1-2 before with the basic rifle. The reason is that almost all games have the AUTOBALANCE function active, giving players a chance. The laser cannon too, seems to be scaled down, but my disco ballery ensures I get top kills By the way, I have a theory about the DR shield mechanism.
That's a pretty good cap on things. Usually, when it happens, I circularly strafe around the enemies, rather than in general. When I circle around them, it offers no chance for them to immediately bite me, but draws all nearby attention to a large group. I then sweep it a bit, just enough so the laser deals enough damage to "pop" the alien.
This isn't me, is it? (Coming from the guy who has nearly 400,000,000 Gold and 720 Mithril banked, owning 65% of the weapons tab (Mostly mithril weapons), 50% of the packs (40% with the new update now), 70% of the armors, and 99 of every consumable item available) Not much, right?
Then what is it? This thread's posts move quite quickly, so I would suggest just saying whatever ideas you have straight out rather than waiting for us to ask about it. Someone around a while ago was quite fond of making leading statements and waiting for people to respond, and that seriously jacked up the post count, despite there being little additional content.
Autobalance means you get put on another team if your original team had 3 while the other team had 1 or likewise... Scaling isn't autobalance
So whenever I fight DR, and I kill the first, the second pulls it's shield up. When I fire at it, though, (to check the shield) I sometimes notice holes in the shield. I was somewhat thinking about this: It is most likely that the mantis is killable while in shield phase. It is definitely the case that the damage to the mantis is reduced to a kitten pawing at it, but if these holes are there, will firing through the cracks result in more damage?
I was making a joke comparing how my spare change and other's spare change are vastly different. Although, I barely use my FLOAT pack, seeing as I like the STK better.
From what I have discovered the trinity isn't just close range, what you do is rotate slightly after each shot into a large group thus making an arc of explosion and you rotate very slightly seeing the arc is already 30 degrees and you can cover 60degrees in 3-4 seconds and have each alien get hit 3-4 times killing them all, making an arc of death...
