Your M-27B1, in particular. I thought your aim was pretty good, so I'm wondering if a power difference between our chainguns might explain most of the difference between our kill scores :/ (mine's fully upgraded at 700 damage)
Thaaaaat would explain a lot. You'll find it a lot easier to kill aliens from right under my nose once you upgrade your gun to level 8, so keep working your finances towards it Go play with Enjoo! He's good

I think most of the active participants on here are from the US. That definitely felt like the case when we still had grey2theman, Gluey and Felder participating regularly on this thread, because a LOT of gaming activity occurred during my sleeping hours. There are probably a few more names from earlier in this thread that I can't remember, but just about everyone seems to be in the US timezones aside from Exact Psience, Asdeasde97, Sheinfell and myself.
Page 96, which was...33 days ago. The thread suddenly became VERY active soon afterwards, when it became a coordination point for people to organise matches and socialise. It literally got to a point where I left the thread for 5 days, then came back to find that it had moved by 100 pages. Considering how people from back then have fallen silent or left, the SW community on TA is still doing incredibly well - this thread continues to experience daily activity despite having all the match organisation shifted to Sheinfell's dedicated group.
Be warned, you'll find a lot of one-liner posts, or posts which just had match/password details with little to no conversation. But if you go backwards in the thread, you'll find that the activity in here literally spiked after the first 90 pages -- prior to that, this was a fairly sleepy thread compared to what's happened to it as of late.
Wait, what!!!! i just read the post below Undead's first post witch was darthguy. he said he's saving up for perseus armor, but I don't think perseus armor was in the game at that time!
Did you happen to follow Asasnator's school of thought as well? I think there were other pros earlier in the thread, but a fair bit of my skill and tactics were based off the wisdom and advice Asasnator contributed here. I'd be pretty interested to see what he's capable of in a match...
I think the Perseus armour was around, actually: right about that time was when I discovered that the gold the boss dropped was no longer based on how many players SURVIVED, but how many players were in the room at the beginning. The mithril railgun might have also been added in this same update, or perhaps the one immediately before/after. Either way, my first post came immediately after an update, so I think the Perseus had just been added to the game.
