It's really just two Mantises with more HP, but dodging both of them at once is a little more problematic... ---- At this point, I wouldn't suggest enlisting me as an ally for Double Rages and Serpent while I'm still in my Thunder Armour: I do a fair bit of damage, but my lifespan is quite limited with regards to taking any hits at all because of the increased damage bosses do when you have teammates in the room (particularly the projectiles on Double Rages).
Massive it is, but I'd like to save it, if I ever glance away and a boss pins me, I'd rather not waste revives >> oh, and back a few pages, turtles on hills are dangerous, especially if they wield massive chainguns of death DBC, congrats on the Siegfried mithril! We just had two lasers and a chaingun focused on Poison Pit. And at least two people used hyper clips. The poor spider got toasted, to say the least.
I laughed so hard when I read this and parcheesy, when one mantis dies, the other pops a 30 (right?) second invincishield so you just gotta dodge and tank it out.
Actually, I think damage CAN be done while the shield's up, because I got the Purple Mantis to flinch when I decided to shoot at its shield during solo mode. Needless to say, the shield absorbs a LOT of the damage...

Go solo Poison Pit with the Thunder Armour's ability and a hyper clip: Poison Pit will pretty much die the same way that Mantis does in a 3-player match if you're carrying two noobs with a hyper-clipped chaingun -- the spider won't even get to move for the few seconds that it's alive. My laser cannon overheated in that last match with DBC just then, because the other laser user had the Perseus armour (no 50% power boost). Suffice it to say, I only got to fire my chaingun for about one or two seconds before Poison Pit kneeled over. -------- No probs, Capricorn, I'll catch you another time
You have to get real close to see them... Anyone wants to run Serpent and Rages, I'm going to need a good run to expunge a recent bad random experience from my memory... Sigh. DBC
