This is part of what I was describing much, much earlier in the thread. I should also add, my playing style changed after switching from Cutter to WB, including using the tip of the blade more than the area closer to the shoulder or hilt... DBC
Did I miss you guys? I was busy trying to finish my first Siegfried run for the day... First attempt, two rank 8-10 players camped on a hill, swords drawn... They died soon thereafter, and the level ended up glitching. Second attempt, two rank 8-10 players camped on a hill, swords drawn, one dies soon after, second and I end up have a scathing little kill competition, he with the chain-gun below the M-, me with my WB, level eventually glitches... kinda cool though, our kill totals were really close! Third attempt... oh, forget it. Siegfried, Siegfried, why do you hate me so? DBC
You didn't miss us, but I was doing some quick scans and still not seeing you. Post again if you want in! ------- And confirm that you're already screening me out in the search bar, so I can confidently create the match without randoms crashing it and stopping you from getting in >.> ------- Neeeeeever mind...
Not sure how long this post will take to show, but if we have a party of three, I will join the room. Terminal time out? Seriously? ARGH. DBC
Do you guys realize this morning when I checked this thread it had moved down to page two on TA.....shame on us all... Come on step it up why don't ya!!!!!!
That's assuming that the M-2781 gives you a speed reduction of infinity. One would think that a player is able to move and dodge said attack.
Not in the camping place, in most of them behind you is a wall and other walls surround you so moving would move into the alien, not a good idea, nless it is a flying alien bug or blue ball shooting worm.
if this is Siegfried, you are sorely mistaken. Unless you're actually serious about standing on TOP of the hill, moving isn't a problem. I personally either stand in the middle of the hill so I have ample space to retreat. I mostly stand right in the thick of it, though.
Oh please, you know I'm joking... I really could have used your help this morning on our feathered friend. Finally beat him, no thanks again to my Rank 8-10 Swordsmen teammates (5th attempt, seemingly the same players each time, only with different names... lol)... Sadly, they both died before Siegfried. Have I mentioned how glad I am that I started packing a third Hyperclip? DBC
Rages I agree with, although one guy who posted a while ago showed a couple of us a great camping spot... heck if I can find it again though... DBC
Well, well, look who shows up... Maybe? You might have actually been on the run where I saw it? I was pretty new, and I remember it was me and two frightfully good players... DBC
Oh, sometimes I'm awake at utterly unholy hours, but anyway. If it's the alcove I'm thinking of, there are actually spawn points right in front of you, and one right ABOVE you (a plasma slug will literally fall out of the sky right in front of you). That being said, it's an incredibly good place to to camp if you're handy with a chaingun, your HP will pretty much remain untouched as long as you're careful of projectile enemies.
