Hey guys, I picked this game up a few days ago and have been loving it. I went to look for the games website to try to find some sort of community and this thread was all I could find. lol Anyway, I've been farming the bosses solo and wondered if anyone knew how much the mithril drop rate actually decreases by after the first drop? And also, do mithril drop rates differ with more players? I find it easier and quicker to solo.
Im up for some xp runs today so i guess i'll just join in on whatever slaughterfest you guys have in mind.
Yes but with more players the mithril drop rate is larger, when you defeat a boss a second time the drop rate plunges so if you have been playing for a few days, mantis is probably your only boss? I wouldn't go crazy doing it because unless you have really good weapons you will start losing money because of ammo. Soloing a boss gives absolutely no mithril.
undead.exe probably knows off the top of his head, but there's a complete breakdown in this thread... somewhere. DBC
Lumberjagk, the mithril mechanics seem vastly unknown to most of us at this point. From memory, someone mentioned that the first mithril drop of the day is at 25%, whereas subsequent drops are just...lower chances than that. I'm not sure by how much. Each boss may give out a certain range of mithril (1-2, 1-3, 2-4), and that's entirely random. I don't think a co-op match increases the odds of mithril drops, and all players have a mithril counter independent of each other (i.e. you won't have 3 players all fighting for the same 4 mithril, or something). Sooooomeone host a match, and I'll hop in. I'm generally quite the impatient room-master, but I'll wait patiently as long as I'm not the one who has to start the match >.>
It decreases dramatically every time. You have the same mithril percentage with any amount of players. Health is increased to a boss if you have more players by about 1/3 each player though you get more gold. Feel free to ask more questions
I picked the game up Friday and am soloing all 5 bosses Serpent gives me some trouble though. Using Atom set w/ NOVA27 (lvl7) & STK-06-ZZ
Assasnator (my long gone friend who helped me) mentioned double rages is good, 90,000 for the first part where siegefried is only 60,000 in the first part, when I need xp I just do double rages first part with a bunch of noobs and quit which doesn't abandon anyone considering they are dead
Sorry buddy, I don't have a clue. I hit level 12 before Serpent made it onto the scene, so I've been quite oblivious to EXP for a while >.>
