I cannot believe you guys are suggesting laser or plasma as first weapons... Mid-level assault rifle, only until M-2871. Then play around with lasers and plasma... DBC
Alright, I'll weigh in. WTH, right? I will tell you what undead.exe told me a couple weeks ago. Bear in mind that two weeks later, at present, I'm level 11 (not sure when that happened), with a full Perseus armor set, fully upgraded Windblade, fully upgraded M-2781, and I'm sitting on 123 Mithril and 48 Million Gold... oh, and 2 Million in ammo with at least 100 of the boosts that are useful (HCs, +25,000s, etc.) Add to that the fact that I haven't spent any money on the game, although I'm going to real soon just to say thanks to the devs for making an IAP game that truly is IAP-optional. That said, here's what I was told: Cutter, FL334AR, level them to around level 4-5, M-2871, Thunder armor, WB, fully upgrade WB, fully upgrade M-2871... and at that point? Whatever you choose to do, you'll have plenty of skill and money to do with what you please. IDK, it seemed like a good plan when undead.exe suggested it to me... After getting set-up, then you can branch out into Mithril weapons, lasers, plasma, crazy armor combos, whatever, but to start? Just keep it simple. Something to cut with and preserve ammo first. - Cutter Next, something modest that causes things to die at a distance. - FL334AR or similar rifle Next, upgrade both to half. You're competitive through PP, a very lucrative early level run Next, something simple, affordable, and very painful to baddies. - M-2871 Next, something modest but burly enough to get you into the better paying boss runs. -Thunder Armor Next, as Mithril allows, something that conserves ammo but seriously frightens even larger baddies - Windblade Finally, buff your weapons. Become very scary DBC
@ WCFields - I should add because you're relatively new here, I'm mostly teasing these guys, but the plan did work magnificently for me. Thanks once again undead.exe. One of the beauties of this game is if you listen to Darthguy, Superion, me, or anyone else at our level, you'll eventually get to our level, because we've all been where you are. Honestly? Plasma, laser, bullets, it doesn't matter. Buy mid-level gear, play around with it, enter some randoms, work the single player... Just have fun with it, try stuff out, make mistakes, die a lot... just have fun with it! DBC
Depends on which day. Yesterday? Bleh. Maybe 6? Today? If I was a betting man, I'd be headed to Vegas! I'm averaging 3-5, for a total of 11 so far, if you can even believe it. DBC
Again, this is just what I was told, but Cutter & FL334AR. Here's the main point to consider: The first weapon you buy is most likely not going to end up being your main weapon. You want weapons that will allow you to earn the money needed to obtain your primary weapons. Cutter for ammo consumption, Fl334AR to make you competitive enough on your (currently) very meager budget. Then armor, and I cannot suggest Thunder strenuously enough. Frankly, the only reason I switched to Perseus when I did was I literally had way more money than I knew what to do with, and the Perseus armor was just so pretty! DBC
Well, look at you, the true symbol of the SW dream. I agree with this sentiment ^^^ you see, fields, drummer has it right in saying what weapons you should get. Personally, I tend to branch out farther from the norm, so some of my suggestions are a bit outlandish at times. Let me weigh in too. I was there back in the day where you had no serpent, double rages, and all. We had the BASICS. I was pretty screwed. I spent an average of about 20 bucks on this game. (I had no TA buddies )Currently, I'm sitting on nearly 136 million gold, I have almost all the consumables at max, and close to 500-600 mithril saved away for a possible update. I earn mithril daily to add to that already good sized pile. Basically all I'm saying is that since I'm rich as hell and all, some of my suggestions are a bit crazy. For the simple vanilla (but powerful still) sketch, DBC has got it. Consult me really if you want a few tips on strategy or some weapon combinations and such. All I really need is to rank up more, which is hard for my lazy self
I have no F'ing clue. Perhaps all of us should argue about what I should buy to entertain WCFields? No, seriously, what should I buy? Does it make me an awful person if I want the FLOAT pack? DBC

I average a good 10 per day or more, but I only play a few hours overall at most (most is around 5-6 overall) as long as I get a decent drop from sieg,serpent, and rages, I'm usually happy.
Yes, your choice, no And in that order, Remember what undead.exe(I think it was him) said, it is a good pack just a LOT of money, poison dodging AND +20% power = epic. But my oponion is this: I always wanted trinity but laser cannon more, so no trinity for me. If the noob I raised (you) gets the trinity I would be SOOOOO HAPPY. But it is your choice because with a level 8 M-2781 you don't NEED anything. Get what is cool.
