Looks like someone's been reading my posts... If you're interested, I think you're referring to a spot in Rages that another player showed me a while ago, but I'll be d@mned if I can find it. If you want to run, maybe I could make an open room and limit it to our ranks so we have a shot at getting a decent third? DBc
It would be really fun if we all went to a pvp match with a password and battle each other, it could be ffa(free for all) or TD.
Trinity and laser cannon = winners, We should make it that if you spent actual money on a game you can't use the wepon or armor or backpack. Password:1234 Closed
I've said this before, but... You are awesome. I just literally LOLed. That's one pro-active way to eliminate IAP issues... DBC
That rule would call into question whether any of the mithril weapons are allowable, since any of them are theoretically attainable within 10 days if you were to boss-grind that much (yes, even the laser cannon). It's very much possible to grind for the Trinity if you have enough patience, just as there are players who didn't spend a cent to get themselves a Windblade. Also, the Nova might be another contentious point, given the ability to glitch its firing rate to 0.16 seconds in PvP (which causes its dps to skyrocket from 1960 to 3063). That weapon may or may not be fair relative to what the consensus is with regards to whether it's fair to allow the use of the glitch or not. -------- Edit: One possible way of getting around the "IAP or boss-dropped mithril" debate would be to set a limit based on the total mithril cost of your equipment. For example, a cost limit of 200 might allow you to bring a Windblade and possibly a regenerative backpack, but not the Laser Cannon or the Black Stars. The Trinity would completely use up a cost limit of 200, so any player with the Trinity is only allowed that particular mithril equipment.
1. Aren't you supposed to be sleeping? 2. You are such a party pooper. 3. Boss-grinding to a Laser Cannon in 10 days? You and I need to hang out... DBC
Yeah, going to sleep soon, definitely no more gaming. Boss-grinding for a mithril in 10 days is theoretically possible, but HIGHLY unlikely because you'd need every boss to drop mithril twice at their maximum value to get 34 shards in one day. 15-18 days sounds more realistic if you're patient enough to make every boss drop some twice a day.
Count me in I really don't need the mithril, but with the amazing dps I put out, I figure that you might want me in your team and Undead, that's a pretty good idea. Setting a mithril limit on a match is GREAT thinking. Everyone will have to bring along a different load out, while trying to maximize effectiveness.
I just had what was probably my single worst random match experience yet... I had a level 10 player with a Cutter in Serpent lead the Bull, the Rolling Turtles, and two separate herds into my back. Care to guess what happened next? Yeah, he didn't make it... Wow, seriously? Some people. On that note, I'm interested in some matches that are actually enjoyable, probably in 15-30 minutes, after I eat my home-made nachos... DBC
Possibly. Do you want me to help you in achieving more mithril? And also, I don't know what my schedule will be in the next few weeks but I'll try to be on at LEAST once or twice a week. About that match, that sucks I may be able to run a few with you later. You know, the enjoyable, I kill you kill we all kill for MITHRIL (to a lesser extent, fun) matches
5 minutes, Mantis 2002? I'm trying to speed run it, so you really just have to avoid blobs. My cannon can kill them ALLLLL!
