That's only available in mithril though. The devs should really let us get mithril by killing bosses or something.
Well I liked the game so much I bought some in app purchases . P.S. The server is down for maintmence right now.
Which offers a better energy/damage ratio when fully upgraded? Plus, does it take more mithrils or money to upgrade an IAP weapon? I'm considering IAP purchase but the high end items are so friggin expensive.
I Personally prefer the 2 chainguns, I got the assault rifle like everyone else than went for chaingun, then the better chaingun. I tried all the other weapon types and always came back to the damage powerhouse chaingun. The speed loss is countered by + speed on gear so not an issue. All the good weapons use crap loads of energy and if you can afford the weapon by now energy cost probably is no longer an issue for you also (as it isn't for me). The chaingun shoots the fastest thus IMO it's the most damaging weapon in the game ( the second 1.4 mill one anyway). Either way you will be fine damage is damage after all Pro tip of the day? If you need a speed boost to dodge with any weapon stop shooting for a second then move, then when your safe continue shooting ( i see so many people die on the bosses because of not doing this
Guys, can you tell me whether there are you and several, competant, AI running around or is it just you saving the world solo? Also, how many AI do you have with you as allies, and how many enemies?
Not quite sure what you mean, but this game has co op which means real players, playing with you. Alternatively if you mean with regards to the story itself? No idea. I wish people joining my games on training base ( which is the final and hardest endless type map) would bring full medipacks and some decent armour. Also that they stop running in the middle like lunatics dieing faster than the time it takes to hit the start button to launch the map, and come up the ramp with me :s I would like to get a few thousand kills and maybe take back the leaderboard again, but the spawn rate on monsters is so slow it's boring alone
Just bought the $700,000 laser. At level one it feels more powerful than my fully upgraded non-IAP assault rifle. Does Atom armor boost the laser rifle's attack? My definition of a 'beam' weapon might be different from the developers...
Everyone's gonna have their own preferences, but I have found the laser to be a pretty serious powerhouse as well. The chain gun does more single target damage, but the laser's piercing ability actually means it can do much more damage than the chain gun when fighting groups of aliens. The AOE weapons like the RPG would also be similarly less effective single target weapons, but more effective against groups since the damage per shot is not limited to a single alien. To me this essentially means the chain guns are boss killers, but since surviving bosses is mostly a speed/dodgeing game, I wouldn't want a minus-speed weapon for that. The one thing I do like about the chain gun is that it's the only weapon type (other than plasma neo which kinda sucks) where you can buy the abaolute best version with money, not mithril.
Yeah, atom armor gives you +30% power with the laser, and is the best armor overall if using it. I got thunder first because I wasn't sure what gun I would settle on but I'm now collecting the atom pieces. FYI, you can see how a different set of gear would affect your stats, including set bonuses, by trying them on in the store.
That's +30% damage btw, just to put some icing on the cake I want to raise an issue on the controls. I don't like how the aiming keeps moving to one direction when you push the joystick too far.
I know what you mean, but I fully upgraded the rpg and the laser, as well as the 1.4 mill chaingun. The rpg shoots slow and sure kills a group in a rocket or 2 but again, it's slow. The laser although shoots through mobs, has a slightly higher base damage and benefits from the atom armours +30%, suffers from its over heating, constantly stoping to allow it to cool down. The chaingun however shoots faster and never stops shooting it also (when fully upgraded) kills mobs near instantly on any map thus negating the shoot through benefit of the lazer, as well as the damage difference. It ends up shoot what you see when you see it and it dies, while I'm pausing with lazer, I've killed and continue to kill with chaingun. Ultimately it depends on your play style, but as a side note the lazer is my boss weapon, as you need to stop shooting to dodge boss charges allowing for weapon cool down then bursts of higher damage.
Not the regular lasers, I can fire mine continuously. I think the 320 mithril laser cannon might have to cool.
Ah the regular lazer doesn't even compare, at maximum upgrade even with the 30% from atom armour it still does less damage and shoots much slower. The movement speed penalty is easily negated from +speed in all armour sets. The main problem is the aliens spawn too slow, you get to the point where you kill all in sight in seconds then stand around waiting for spawns, the aliens frequency should really increase as your party's combined kill count increases. Perhaps there health can also increase, I have noticed that they start doing more damage after you kill a thousand or 2, but it's there hp and frequency as I stated that are the main factors in endless waves.
It doesn't shoot "much slower", just slightly, and you have to multiply the damage of the laser at least by two or three to accurately compare its effect against groups. The aliens do spawn slowly but still often in packs, and even when they don't, it's a good idea to lead them into packs for bnous building anyway (something there should definitely be a leaderboard for). As for speed, I'm just saying more is always better against bosses, but I can also see the appeal of overwhelming single target damage.
Who wants to play training base? Know one stays on the flat area up top they always at bottom dieing.
Small observation about money making. It seems to me the fastest way to make money is to play the Sigfried level over and over without actually fighting Sigfried (after the first run each day). It's pretty quick an as far as I can tell produces more money over time (by repeating) than a long training base run. It's too bad that the boss money drops off as fast as it does. It's barely worth fighting them more than once a day, but it's definitely the most fun part of the game currently. Endless is just not working right now. It needs to get much harder much faster, more aliens with higher health and damage after a few hundred kills and that should increase exponentially after that point. It should get so intense you just get overwhelmed eventually. Currently, I either get bored and start playing carelessly because I'm through with the game or you just play til you're out of ammo.
