What? 800k a day, 1m on weekends? That's such a low amount. It takes dedication, but you can make at LEAST 5m per day. A couple runs of the online bosses, 1-2 quick runthroughs of the offline ones, and you'll be in the money o.o
Hmm.. Well he should at least average more than 800k per day. Mantis runs take less than five minutes, but net at least 100k.
Parcheesy, what level/equipment do you have? It's VERY much possible to earn 8 mlilion gold in a day, but you'll have to put up with a few potential nuisances if you want to do it quickly: Every single match you play should have 3 players. In particular, you REALLY don't want to fight Serpent the first time of the day without three players in the room, because the boss payout is unbelievably huge. All your armour should give gold bonuses. My current set up is basically giving me an additional 55% of gold or so, which comes at a huge cost to speed because of the Andromedae legs; you might actually want to switch those out for either the Perseus or Cygni legs if it makes surviving easier (I forgot which one has higher HP). To give you a general benchmark, I'm earning about 1.3 million from the Serpent's actual boss drop the first time I kill it when I stick to those rules, while the total gold I earn from that match is 1.6 million. Takes a little patience and match grinding, but abiding to those two principles seems to be the fastest way to gold-grind, at least for me anyway. Also, finding the irony quite hilarious here: we're training new players *not* to be too aggressive during escort runs, but then they turn out just as aggressive as their mentors when they grow up...
No worries, I was mostly joking... now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go and sulk. Honestly? The only thing about this game that needs serious consideration is the Mithril pay-out. I get it, it's a way of getting money from IAP, I'm fine with that, but the way it's distributed is, well, stupid. You should get something for each first boss kill of the day. I don't care if they change all the rates to 1, but the random thing is simply too random, and too frustrating. Two points: 1. I've been in random boss fights where I was virtually the only one doing anything, as my bonuses clearly showed. So I get, say $200,000.00 in a PP run, the guy under me gets $80,000.00... and 2 Mithril? Come on, he got Mithril for standing there? 2. I fought Mantis off and on yesterday, like all day, going into random rooms while you guys were doing whatever. I must have fought Mantis 15 times. Last night, I fought him twice in a row, and got 1 Mithril twice in a row. The benefit structure just seems weird. DBC
^This^ + Anyone else notice what a lucrative little job PP is for such little effort? $200,000.00 per run minus a totally optional $2,000.00 HC? Nothing but WB through the initial wave, even on the Bull (if you're careful)? Total time spent? 5 minutes? That's approximately 2 million per hour. I did PP twice tonight, and on my second run? 3 Mithril! Cha-CHING! DBC
That is quite ironic I had no mentor, so I was naturally aggressive. (although somehow my play style actually helps with me being aggressive, I take less damage) TIME TO MAKE MORE AGGRESSIVE PADAWANS!
My play style really revolves around strafing while alternating weapons, making sure that I'm virtually untouchable (it has a few flaws, I get hit sometimes). It really also involves distance manipulation on my part.
I would also add, don't worry about Siegfried, Serpent, and the Rages if you're grinding. The pay-outs simply don't measure up when considering expenditure of effort vs. pay-out. Do all three at least once, and again after that only if you get time, have players you can trust, get bored, whatever. But facing those three more than once as a part of an actual grind is making much work for relative little gain after the first victory... DBC
