Thanks for the tips, I'm on the first map day 4 I think but I've no ammo. What do I do when i've run out of ammo?
While this advice might seem painfully obvious, don't take offense or get discouraged. I can tell you from recent personal experience that much of the UI is pretty confusing at first. There are still things I see and think, "I wonder what that does?" Another piece of advice I forgot, along these lines. Get into the habit of gearing up after you do anything that expends resources. For example, whenever I do a boss run that uses, say, two Hyperclips, 40,000 worth of ammo, and a +25,000 HP (What? It happens!), I replenish immediately after the level ends. It's saved me endless frustration and missed opportunities to play with others... DBC
In response to undead, yes, I tend to do the same with the cannon, using the charge up I to cooldown, but also switch to a secondary to get off more DPS while the cannon recharges. I use the Second Sniper, and with all of my buffs, (including a hyper clip) I manage to get off around 29,000 (ish?) damage while my cannon finishes a full cooldown. Also, I'm terribly bored now, DBC, anyone for that matter, wanna run some bosses?

Wish I could have known that back in my noob days. Now that I'm pretty rich, I have too much ammo to really care for a while, and my gear doesn't take too many tweaks to adjust to bosses. Oh, you also get to the point where you actually listen to DBC and buy 99x of all the items in the shop
