I'm geared for poison, so I'm ready for PP or Serpent, but I can change packs. What do people want to do? Who's in? DBC
*Comes back from camp, logs onto TA and clicks "View First Unread"* *Page 142 of 242* ....MAAAAAN, this thread really moves when you're gone for 5 days. I took a quick skim read of the last 100 pages that popped up in my absence, replying to random points that I can still remember. If you had a question directed at me, please ask again, because I don't wanna go read those 1000 posts again =_______= --------- First off, congrats to everyone for forming an awesome gaming community where you train each other up and improve at an incredible pace -- loving how old newbies have fledged into mentoring more new players to this game! And also, don't worry DBC -- sounds like you've developed much more than enough skill to ignore my nagging nowadays, so go ahead and be aggressive if that's helping you kill stuff faster Asasnator, I think my max combo so far has been somewhere between 59-64. I know you're pretty much the undisputed god of this game, but the enemies on Lair don't spawn anywhere near fast enough for my liking =.=" Superion's usage of the Laser Cannon sounds like it could do more damage output than what I originally calculated, if you can start charging it up before it cools down completely (assuming you don't overheat it). I'll need to figure out the calculations for that later, but at a preliminary guess, it's still averaging a dpm of 3500 per second (assuming you fire it until it almost overheats, but release the trigger and charge it up again just as it completely cools down, so it's a wait of 5 seconds between a firing time of 9.99999.... seconds). If you have four slots, then depending on whether you ever switch weapons during your boss runs, I might suggest you actually load only ONE weapon into your bag, while filling up the rest of the slots with health packs or hyper clips. Health packs are a pretty good failsafe to stop you from losing the boss rewards, but all hyper clips is also quite good if you're confident that you'll kill the boss quicker than it can kill you. With Double Rages, the Mantises still take damage when they're roaring while their shield manifests. Once they stop doing their battle pose, they're completely immune to damage, so switch to a weapon with no speed penalties and concentrate on dodging, but fire one or two shoots periodically to check if the barrier is still active (this is one of the only two instances I'd pull out the Windblade on a boss while playing seriously). Also, from what I can tell, BOTH mantises seem to try to put up their shield ASAP when you kill its partner -- but they can't begin putting up their shield until they've finished their attack sequence, so you've got a small window there to deplete the other mantis's HP before it becomes impervious to damage. Felder, any further development/news with the usage of Mumble for Star Warfare? ---------------- That's about all I've got to say/ramble about in my 5 day absence. Anyway, undead.exe reporting for duty
