I bought it anyways, hah. Glitch stops working once you enter Stage 3 but a re-glitch will do it.
Well...now this thread is mostly about glitching so let's talk about weapons and gear! :D
I'm very dissapointed about the bow. I mean, I cant even hit most bosses with the sword. The last gear set is pretty much made for this sword/bow cause it adds a meele set bonus and even the style and color is the same lol. I guess it was made more for PvP then for PvE, right?
I also think that the storm blade bonus needs an All DEF buff instead of melee buff cuz otherwise it doesnt make any sense when everyone in PvP is shooting at you imo.
I'm mostly using dual pistols atm. At level 6 they are so beast! Well, they arent that good on bosses but they wreck mobs really fast. I mean really really fast. Didnt tried the railgun yet so I cant compare it against each other. I need more cash to upgrade it to at least the same level. Will take a while.

Oh and it's sad that the tank bonus is useless at end game cuz the last gear set has so much hp, you will have less HP with the latest gear available which can provide this buff. I tought there is more variety in end game. Like a tank with 100k HP but less damage output than any other class.

Sorry guys, my english is really fcked up today xD

I love the railgun. The damage output, the charge mechanic, the semi auto-aim, and it looks most badass the way the character carries it.

Then my second most favorite is... "Sniping Uranus." :D:D:D

My favorite armor set skill is hands down Double Edged. When equipped with high base damage AOE weapons, the 50% increase in all types of damage is just boss.

Once I can afford it I'll go for the Railgun too, even if just for old times' sake ;)
That was just too much fun for me, standing there in SW1: not looking impressive at all, I could almost see the other players' thoughts of "wtf is this underpowered guy doing here?" . Soooooo slow I could hardly move, but mowing down aliens with the Chaingun left and right.

On a more negative note, my experience with multiplayer PvE was about as bad as in SW1 so far:
Only a handful (less actually, one or two only) of folks who really know what they are doing, some that try really hard and look like they could get the hang of it. And, unfortunately, mostly morons that either totally mess up (like getting killed within a minute) or flatout try to freeload. Had it a few times that folks were just running around and grabbing every coin they could get, while never firing a shot. For those cases, the aliens suddenly are my best buddies: go fetch! ;)

Oh ye, I know exactly what you mean. The worst ones are the ones who just started the game and join your group which was opened for taking on the third heroic boss. xD

Now I'm really curious about the railgun. I'll definitely try it on my next run but atm I need a break from this game. Spent my whole free time for the last three days with this game. I'm kinda exhausted already.

Its good for survivability actually. It heals 2% HP per second when under 45% health, and combined with the siege set youre pretty hard to kill. It also says 2% HP for team, so i dont know how that works. But if it does heal your whole team as well thatd be a bonus

But Ill rarely use it since I like using the energy damage one or the jetpack

Oh no its definitely not useless, its just the fact that the last heroic boss does so much damage that its not an option to be a slow moving tank.

Im sure in PvP the siege set, green void, with the last backpack would make you insanely hard to kill for anybody that doesnt have top tier weapons. One issue is that the chest needs to be green, and i think the best green chest armor is 7700 HP while the top 2 chest armors are both blue, the top one having 15000 hp. So you arent gaining much more HP at the moment, all youre getting is like 5k HP (if even), 25% def and HP regen really.

that problem should go away with new equips being added into the game

I'm on ~64k health with the last gear set just due to my green void giving me a HP bonus. Hope that's enough for the last heroic boss. I'll try to upgrade my void again before I'll take on him.
Green emerald material is hard to come by though.

Edit: oh I just realised I talked nonsense cuz I definitely wont wear the latest set. Melee doesn't make sense for bosses. How's the energy master bonus? +35% energy dmg but no def reduction compared to double edged.

Go for it, but whether you have defense or not the boss will kill you in a couple hits lol. Try it though and let me know how it works.

I used the stalker set that gave me 10 speed and 11 when hit. If i had a rabbbit foot skill on my void thatd be even better (11 and 12). Had 75K HP with that and still died twice from his black hole and fire ball combo (he only starts using that near the end though, i died twice within his last 10% HP)

Its just too hard without speed. The monsters popping out of the ground are a pain too, you have elite spinning things, that huge cow thing, the ranged scorpions, all that stuff to deal with while trying to also avoid the bosses attacks

Oh god I hate the spinning things and the big mammoth like thing! They're spawning in the last boss fight? Holy.

I'm nowhere near taking on Heroic-4 Cerberthingie, but here's an idea:
If you need speed, would the 4th Void with Rabbitfoot and ideally a cooldown reduction work?
Then you have two speed skills to get out of a pinch.
I just cannot judge if you can heal enough with only 3 potions.

@Nekku: the Spinners are a huge pain, fully agree. I find them even worse than that huge Bull-Mammoth thing. If I observed right, they take almost no damage while spinning. Very similar to the "Armadillo Balls" in SW1.

Does anyone know already which Energy Rifle is better when fully upgraded, the ShadowArbit or the Light?

Seems "+X% all damage" also applies to your Void.
My Red just pretty much one-shotted Normal Deadeye, which it didn't do before I switched to an armor set with Double Edged (+50% all dam) bonus.

What does the blue void do exactly? I saw one in pvp and it started shooting a laser at me. That hurt.

Is the laser an active ability or is it a passive thing? The void description doesn't mention any active ability...

And does the grey void make you teleport or what? Could someone define 'dash five yards' please?

Yep, my green Voids active healing ability heales me for around 5k HP with low level gear and is now healing me for 17k. So it scales with my own HP.

The laser beam from the 3rd Void is a passive skill. It automatically shoots at your enemies. Very impressive in PvP. Dmg also scales with your own stats.

The dash active ability is a teleport, exactly. It's just a very short range. Gets better when upgraded though.

Did anyone already got a rare green material which looks like a cube? I did farm in Stage 2 exploring mission but didn't got one. Was at nearly 300 kills were enemies one shot me. Didn't got a single one of them. :/
Does it has a better drop rate on the 2nd boss?
Really need it to get the Flappy Fire skill on my void. That would be a fire rate of 15.00 on my dual pistols.

Oh, does anyone knows how fire rate is calculated? Like how many shots per second. Atm it seems like just a number to me were higher means better but I can't do any calculations without knowing what this number means exactly. I really want to know which weapons have the highest burst damage potential and which the highest dmg output over time.

A cooldown reduction set would be bad because youre losing the +1.5 spd and +1 bonus from stalker, and even with -50% reduction, every 30 seconds wouldnt be enough. I think they need to change that to a much shorter time period (30 seconds CD, 15 with -50% reduction) to make it actually viable. Is there a cooldown reduction skill on voids? Regardless though I think the healing of the green void is kinda needed for this boss

Since I dont think theres a way to equip all of the same potions, I think that would only leave you with 1 25k, 1 8k and 1 3.5k potion. His regular fire breath did 15k damage on me. So without that green void youre probably going to end up dying a lot haha. But if you can manage to get fast enough (11 spd, 12 on taking damage) you might be able to avoid most of his attacks if you figure out how you should run so he doesnt use the black hole move.

Whats flappy fire?? Does that increase fire rate by 50%? If so I need to make another void lol

Oh and the rare materials drop from bosses relatively quickly. Id say i get 1 of them 50% of the time, and 2 like 5% of the time.

Voids do damage proportional to your DPS ive found, and the green one heals i think around 25% of your max health

Hey, I don't know if anyone here is named "Triston", but I am guessing someone here is since I doubt very many, if any, know about the exploit to get gems and gold that do not visit these forums lol

Anyways, I am Zarcos on SW2 and wanted to say it was fun destroying each other's teammates haha, both got around 20+ kills lol

Okay thanks. I'll go for the boss then.

I've flappy fire on my green void and it says hold down the attack button to increase fire rate by 5% up to 50%.
Oh and it's a Lv4 skill so you'll have to upgrade your Void at least twice to reveal it.

^ so you'd have to keep holding it down! but then it would be awkward to aim.

^^ I doubt we are the only ones who know about it! someone else is bound to have stumbled upon it as well.

I just got the rail gun and it's pretty cool, so am I meant to charge it up fully and then charge up again while firing the first four shots to fire continuously?

Yep would be awkward just due to the shitty aiming controls.
