I am completely stuck in heroic level 3 stage 1... I cant even awake the boss before the time runs out...
Is the 4th boss on heroic even possible without respawns? Maybe the trick is not getting hit at all? Anyways, his fire breath does 15k damage even with the siege set equipped and the last backpack (which couldnt heal fast enough), and the area it hits is huge. So tanking is definitely not the way to go. I tried with my double edged set with 50% damage backpack, but couldnt move fast enough to avoid the fire either I guess i can try a run with 9+ speed (wish i got rabbit foot on a void for 10 speed) and do a little damage but possibly avoid his attacks. Side question, whats the max level for voids? Mine doesnt show upgrade anymore at lv 4, but still shows next level increases by 10-18% next level. Plus one of the stat things with a void symbols shows 4/8 for me, and it showed 3 when mine was lv 3. Some people have 5/8 and 6/8, so im wondering if you can reach level 8, and how i could unlock that
Yup, speed did the trick. That was a crazy boss fight haha and im actually really surprised at how good that was for an ios game especially. Took a long time (15 min?) but it was fun too Heres what i equipped: (its showing my shotguns stats which i upgraded like once or twice lol, never use it except for the speed bonus when running away) Basically max speed equips that also let me get the stalker set. The Gravity backpack so i dont take lava damage, and for the +1 speed too. For weapons, I switched to the shotgun for most of the time, and when i was far away or had a safe shot i switched to the rail gun and got a couple shots off and switched back. With the shotgun I had 8.5 spd, + 1.5 spd from stalker set which also gives +1 additional speed when hit. So 10 spd - 11 spd was enough for me to get out of the way. The problem comes when he charges at you, and then just walks after you and then uses his black hole before you can get far away. Near the end he does that, and during the black hole move he shoots out the 3 waves of fire balls. That ended up killing me when the boss had like 10% health so i just revived. He then killed me just before those screenshots again with the black hole + fireballs + stomping on me combo. Revived again lol. Close enough Can anybody beat him without dying once? And how? The boss just does so much damage, and it becomes pretty unavoidable later on
I have yet to try the final boss on heroic difficulty, I will let ya know when I get there haha. As for the voids, I am thinking the same thing you are. It says 3 on my profile when I am online, which is what my highest level void is, but I do also currently have 3 voids in my inventory...so it could be that, but I doubt it since I don't have 8 inventory slots lol. I bet when they introduce later campaign missions with new bosses and such, you will be able to upgrade your void some more. Also, the side mission in heroic stage 3-5 that is to kill 200 aliens, it does not actually work for me. I am thinking you need to do it with a specific weapon and they made a mistake or something. Anyways, has anyone been able to finish that side mission? And if so, what weapon were you using?
Congrats FriedSushi! I'm still in the beginning of Stage 3 so it takes awhile until I get there. I already imagined how horrible the 4th boss would be on heroic, hah.
Erm... Well...*cough*... >.> I can't talk for everyone but it might be that sooome users used the glitch to redo already completed missions but still being credited for it. Here is how I did this. Complete the first level in Stage 1 on heroic including all side missions. If you don't complete all side missions it wont work. Now kill the 4th boss in normal mode. After that all heroic missions become locked again cuz the game thinks you've beat the 4th boss for the first time and therefore it can't be that you already participated in heroic mode or something like that. Now head over to heroic mode and do the first level again. Just run through all checkpoints. After completion you will get the 80 Mythril for clearing all side missions which you had already cleared before. Rinse and repeat. You can also do other heroic missions. As long as you have all side missions completed you will get the Mythril bonus. There is another glitch to reset all normal missions too but I don't know how exactly that works. It just happened accidentally on my side.
I dont get why the last three weapons are that underpowered compared to the earlier ones like the Railgun or even the ShadowArbit energy rifle. Imagine you pay real money for two of these and then you'll get this crap. The Bow/Sword needs a firerate buff. The dual pistols needs at least a slight damage buff. And the sniper needs the ability to do AoE damage on impact like the Uranus. Is this even an energy sniper rifle? Looks like a normal bullet shot to me. Till then, they are easily outclassed by the earlier ones.
I just started going through Stage 1-Heroic. And all side missions show up as completed (I did this on Normal) before I even ran a level once. When completing a level, I get the bonus for having all sidemissions completed (e.g. 80 Mithril) . So I think you do not have to complete the sidemissions on Heroic, Normal should be fine. Will see if I can test this later today.
Seems like the glitch works slightly differently for some people, heh. I had to do all side missions on Stage 1 heroic to get the Mythril. I dont get the Mythril for Stage 1 - 2 heroic cuz there is one side mission left (run over 40 aliens by vehicles. Dont know how to do that). I still have this level cleared on normal.
@Nekku: Hhmm, could it be that it treats all sidemissions you cleared on Normal as cleared on Heroic? I can check this against a Heroic level where I don't have everything cleared on Normal. But that's like 6-8 hours away, till I'm back home and find time. @E-P: Yup, that's pretty much a total gamebreaker. I wouldn't be surprised if Freyr deletes all Mithril items and Mithril from accounts using the glitch, if not outright banning them. As you most likely will go online at some point, it shouldn't be hard to check accounts against purchasing history and online games played, to find out where you got your Mithril from. The main problem I see is that it seriously breaks PvP balance, which could be reason enough for countermeasures.
Why does it break the game? You can buy Mythril to get premium gear and weapons anyways. It would be much work to make the difference between glitched and legit earned Mythril if they're going to just take the glitched Mythril away. It get's even more complicated if this Mythril was already spend. Pretty much the same happened in O&C Online and I tell you, GL messed up completely by trying to just take back the glitched ones. Well, one of the people over at Freyr said he is looking into my account today. I'll report back how this turned out. At least, he should be able to see which mess I've done. I've already said them in my first mail that I was able to get infinite Mythril for doing normal missions over and over again. I've provided them my account details and since then, I weren't able to do this glitch so I guess they fixed it. Well, they didn't fix the other one in heroic missions. I've said they can take the Mythril back but it didn't happened. They just said they will fix it. If this turns into a ban then okay, I'll take it. It was fun while it lasted.
Hold on so would I have to beat the boss each time? Just out of curiosity... Btw guys, I just beat the cerbelisk first time, and I only got hit once. I don't know why you guys ae saying it was too hard...
You have to beat the 4th boss on normal everytime you want to reset heroic mission progress (side missions aren't affected).
Nope... Not in my case. Once i have all sub-missions completed in 1-1 heroic, i only have to defeat 4-Boss Normal once. Then what i do is start 1-1 Heroic, then hit menu, then quit game. THEN, i have to hit Continue instead of Restart for the 80 crystals to be saved into my stack. If i complete 1-1 Heroic, then the bug would only then be available on 1-2, provided i have completed all sub-missions there as well. If i mess up, then i can always fight 4-Boss Normal to reset 1-1 Heroic. Rinse. Repeat.
Thats' how it works for me as well. However additionally I work my way back to 4-1 for the vastly increased rewards.
What I'm trying to say is, after you get the crystals, do you have to go back and beat cerbelisk again? And lol, no, I've only beaten cerbelisk on normal, I ain't crazy Edit: oh ok, but can I skip 1-2 heroic? I can't run over 40 aliens what level should I go up to before I restart the chain? Not that I'm doing it of course..hehe... Edit 2: wait, so I have to do all the side missions on heroic, kill cerbelisk, play mission then quit, and play it again doing all the side missions, kill cerbelisk etc?
Oh, I didnt tried that. So you dont even have to beat the heroic mission? Holy. I'll do that now. Seems like everyone is glitching.
