I had planned to implement controller flight mode but it lost the sense of frantic fast paced action during dog-fighting so I didn't develop it further. Sorry.
Yes I could see that almost cheating on those cases. Oh well, the control implementation is great here. Just looking for more titles to try out with my controller.
Game doesn't load on iPhone 4s iOS 8.1. It gets to the image of the chick with the spectacle looking glasses and that's it. Just hangs there.

I totally forgot about your Steam release. Just picked up a copy on there too. I'll have to see how the gameplay feels with different inputs.
I took that old version down as soon as the Elite version was ready. The old freemium version was stripped down on assets to get it to run at acceptable speeds. I wanted to move away from the IAP approach and iOS8's new engine to handle javascript was a good opportunity to release the same PC build. Edit: Also, updates are soooooo slow on Apple. Waiting to be reviewed takes a minimum a week. I already plan another update after this one, but it hasn't even been reviewed yet.
I'm rebuilding it to include all the recent changes I've put in for the Steam build, importantly, re-structure all the story text to be SKIP-ABLE via touching the text itself. This was something I messed up early on when starting, I made the text code on a timer and it just went from there, so it requires fixing each line. Also lots of re-balance to ease & speed up early game to get players into the Story. A few bugfixes too.

It works just fine on the iPhone 5S, I've tested it (haven't got access to 5c to test), but the icons/text were too small for me to play well so I didn't recommend it. It would have required a major overhaul and atm I just want to focus on SN2, its such a big scope game that I'll be busy with it for a long time.

It's not alleged, it does occur when you run out of storage on the device. The auto filesave is only ~0.2MB, its not the cause. But iOS8+ was built with a new engine that facilitates running PC code unported. It allows saves to be written on the disk via LocalStorage. Sadly, they forgot to flag it to be immune from iOS auto-clean that triggers when storage is very low/out, deleting extra app files. I hope in the next compiler update, they will fix that because its a major oversight. I didn't catch it during dev testing (likewise for the guys who made the new iOS8 engine!) because my devices have plenty of space left.. http://osxdaily.com/2014/04/07/ios-app-name-cleaning/
