Well I think Glitchsoft should make another game where you pay but you only get half of it until you pay for the rest, then maybe people would realize that the IAP's ARE NOT NEEDED. Sorry for the angry mob of pitchforkers Glitchsoft, I understand this if your first release (that I know of) and its hard to be successful for this market. I've realized you have put it of effort and time into this. Sorry about all the naysayers.
Downloading now had a bit of trouble finding it if I type star marine it does not show had to type the whole title.
HAHAHA, THAT is friggin funny! I actually laughed out loud at the computer. Talk about your all-time typos! Glitchsoft, I am playing right now and enjoying the game. One suggestion: Make running and aiming both done on the left stick, have a dedicated shoot button, and a dedicated fire button....I hate to say it..but, like Contra's control setup, it'd be great. Back to the game, Skip.
They actually have a pretty Dam solid release out there as we speak... You should check it out, it's the reason I bought this. ;-)
Boy, what a great way to illustrate a point I agree though, great effort Glitchsoft. Despite the IAP qualms, I appreciate the heart and soul that went into this game. I still bought it literally the minute it was released, and am enjoying it very much.

Been playing and I am definitely enjoying it. The controls aren't hard at all. i actually find them pretty d@mn easy to get used to. The jump and shoot mechanic is awesome. I will will pot more later. Good game and sorry the frustrated posts. I really wish games were released at the same time worldwide or hit the USA first.
Agreed, I as well. Still wanna have a Contra-style control option though, just for "MIGHT be better"s sake
Yeah, Contra controls would be cool too, just to have the option. I just like the feel of this for the iPod. It just feels right! I wouldn't mind an analog option though. **Even the virtual joystick doesn't feel bad and I usually hate virtual joysticks. Good job Glitchsoft. Do I agree with a crazy grind (if that's the case)? Not really, but the game is awesome.
If you leave the app the sound doesn't come back on. I went to check an email and the when I came back to the game the sound was off. I went to the options and turned it back up but to no avail. IDK why people complain so much about retina because the game looks great. It's a bit duller than retina graphics, but, again, it looks great IMO. I never really get worked up if a game doesn't have retina especially if it's good. Maybe I just can't see well?!?
