You know what Midian, for someone who called for calm a few pages ago and extolled the virtues of constructive criticism you are massively confrontational. You've been passively aggressive to people in this thread, a few other threads I've seen and downright rude on the Toucharcade article that was previously referenced. I appreciate that some things obviously boil your piss but still...
I watched their video and was interested to hear the part where they said its Tuesday and is getting submitted in 24-48 hours. So it should have been submitted already, according to TA?
Hence my change of sig I know I can be hypocritical, and I'm not the most peaceful guy on the forum, the controversies surrounding this game are a particular rage-builder for me. I make an attempt to stay reasonable, but it's tough when there is some genuine idiocy around. I only point it out when I honestly believe it to be true I also knew going into that article I was going to find plenty of comments I'd react negatively to. Sometimes I just try to avoid reading comments at all, but hey, I was bored. Anyway, I've kinda given up on this thread after so many pages of moaning. I still want the release thread to go down without a hitch.
If it's any consolation, I respect people who tell it like it is and stand up for themselves, so you're in my good books right now. That comment was straight to the point, and you didn't even need to swear.
It's all very meta, it's right there in my post. A good portion of this thread is whinging, then whinging about the whinging and now whinging about the whingers whinging about the whinging. If, like me, you like a good whinge it's a bloody good thread.
Hear! Hear! I love a good whinge, and some of the finest whingers (including me if I may be briefly immodest) I've seen on the interwebsnet are in this thread. Moar pleeze.
I suspect that if it had been submitted then we would know by now. So I guess that 48 hour submission window was loose like the rest of their estimated release time frames. ____________ Check out Blendoku, a brilliant free iOS and Android puzzle game. But it cannot be approved if it has not been submitted. It was on the 9th of April the Warballoon team said in a Kickstarter update "In about 48 hours we are going to be submitting Star Command to the iTunes store". I'm pretty sure that they would have actually said that it had been submitted, the moment it had. But no news so far. ____________ Check out Blendoku, a brilliant free iOS and Android puzzle game. on April 9th it was said to be "submitted within 24-48 hours". As far as we know, it still hasn't been.
It's unlikely but maybe the devs have seen the negative reaction to the "only 30% made it into the final product" revelation and have gone back to add a lot more.
Next week is cool. I read 2.99 is going to be price. Is that accurate? --- Now about the game. I hadn't been interested in the game for a while. But I recently got into X-Com and strategy games so now I've been following Star Command. So from what I gather, the game that's releasing is now predominately about combat and resource management rather than the more expansive aspects featured in earlier videos? Not that I'm disappointed or anything, just want to know what I'm getting if I buy
