Or maybe they decided to correct as many errors as possible before they submit their work to be consumed by the world. It's pretty clear from your post that it's not something you're too worried about anyway.
The most telling thing about this dev so far is that they said that they didn't release in Dec. because they didn't want to compete with EA, Rovio, etc and then it turns out its not even ready. I would be surprised if we see it in March. I'd be surprised if we see it in 2013.

He didn't say they've been bug fixing for two years, and the developers have actually given insight into the reasons behind the delays. Is it not possible to keep childish bitterness out of this topic and just be grown up with our criticisms? I think you know you're exaggerating for dramatic effect. Some of us are still excited for the game.
Why is it usually two extremes with this game in one corner we have the most sheepish fans that are willing to overlook everything this devloper did even though they clearly made some huge mistakes during development... And on the other side the worse naysayers that keep saying the game never will get released they,ve stated numerous times that the game is in the beta stages that means it will be released soon. The 2 major mistakes I pin on these guys are having a kickstarter for a new project without finishing the first one and constantly announcing a release date without even pinning down major gameplay components (they were still debating what battlesystem to use well into their development cycle). Other than that they have been pretty open and honest about everything and have apologised and even admitted to their mistakes (well except the kickstarter).
I'm repeat good luck for waiting, i'm tired to be foolish by this vaporware. Maybe SC come out this year, maybe in the 5 hour of gameplay mode they said it will came out in Christmas 2012, maybe even for PC, i don't know, neither you. Vaporware game, like duke nukem and aliens, after many years of development and broken release date are an ugly ghost of the original intention. But good luck for waiting to the end of time.

They seem to be fixing memory leaks on older devices (based on their facebook post). Thats usually the last step. It must be pretty close.
Let's see if we could hit #1000 posts before the game gets released. I predicted a Mid march release based on nothing but wild conjecture.. doesn't seem like it's going to come through..
