Well, I based my comment off of comments from the game makers... And thanks. I did read. It's something I do. "No the opposite- since they share save-games we HAVE to maintain features across. But the iPhone game will not launch with all of the features planned for the PC version - it will gain them as we go along, eventually being 1:1 with the PC in most respects on launch day (the UI, and some additional PC-only features will be unique)" Sounds like the iOS and Mac versions will be pretty similar. At least enough alike to be able to play a save game on either. So, I understand that to mean exactly that. If the PC version has a few extras, then that's smart. They'll get more people to buy both versions to experience the whole thing. Sounds like a great idea. And of course the user interface will be slightly different on different platforms. Well, I'm going to go back to reading... something else.
I agree with you curtisrshideler. I probably will buy a PC version but only if it won't devatate my wallet. I'm guessing that it will be at price around $15-20. If so, the game is mine...
pricing for PC/MAC We are thinking $10-15 for the PC version if it does come out for PC/MAC. We'd stay competitive. One other benefit though is we'll be giving priority for lots of oodles and goodles to the kickstarter supporters on an ongoing basis - because they're giving us their money/support- like any good company would do. But if you are nervous - the mobile is coming soon - and we are hoping it will impress greatly!
Well I'm pleased this is out soon. I have just seen your new vid on YouTube, it kind of blew me away. Some questions if you can or are able. How is the combat done, real time/turn based etc? Do combat situations only arise when defending the ship or do you have away teams and boarding actions?
Soon Soon We mean soon soon - we're trying hard for August - really hard. The combat is real-time - but we have ideas for a potential turn-based away missions expansion. For now though - the game essentially has missions that can vary between combat, a mystery on your ship, a mystery in space, or somehitng strange going on aboard your ship. Eventually these lead to an on-ship encounter or an our-of-ship encounter but we are trying to vary the mission format form simple - get in fight. An example of a mission we're working on is having to move all of your crew into one room in 30 seconds- and whoever doesn't make it dies.
Don't forget a mission where evil versions of the crew from an evil universe take over the ship They must all have goatee's.

Ok, I have to say I fully support this game and love what I'm seeing but let's be honest, when is the release date? I've been following this game for over a year. You need to hurry up and finish the game. I know some people will say "oh, they'll finish the game when it's done" but there is a limit.
